"Miss Rebekah," Maria whispered, knocking softly on the door.Rebekah groaned, burying her face under a pillow. "Go away, Maria."
The door creaked open, and Rebekah sat up, rubbing her eyes."Maria, I said—" Her gaze fell on Chuck, and her tone shifted."Chuck?" Surprise colored her voice.
Chuck's amused smile spread as he leaned in, kissing her forehead."Good morning, Sleeping Beauty," he whispered, his chuckle low.
Rebekah turned to Maria, still standing in the doorway."Maria, can you get me some coffee and a banana, please?" Rebekah requested softly.Maria nodded, disappearing into the hallway.
Chuck settled beside Rebekah on the bed, his eyes never leaving hers.Rebekah's gaze lingered on him, a warm smile spreading."Morning," she whispered, snuggling into his side.Chuck wrapped his arms around her, holding her close.
Rebekah raised an eyebrow, her voice laced with amusement. "Is there a reason you're here the morning of your father and Lily's wedding?"Chuck chuckled, his eyes crinkling. "Best man speech to write, and literally no time to write it."
Rebekah's laughter was soft, her lips brushing against his cheek in a gentle kiss."Then let's get you some pen and paper, and begin, yeah?" she suggested, her smile radiant.Chuck's grin mirrored hers. "You're a lifesaver."
Rebekah slid out of bed, padding barefoot to her dresser. She returned with a notebook and pen, handing them to Chuck."Inspiration, courtesy of me," she said, snuggling beside him.Chuck wrapped his arm around her, beginning to scribble notes.

Rebekah stepped out of the car, her smile soft as she thanked the driver. Her father, Randel, and stepmother, Cherie, followed closely behind."Charles," Cherie said warmly, noticing Chuck's approach.
Chuck's smile was charming. "Mr. and Mrs. Austin, lovely to see you both."He shook hands with Randel, exchanging a brief nod.
"We'll go join Archibald," Randel said, his tone straightforward. "You two kids have a good time."Cherie's gaze lingered on Rebekah, her eyes shining with warmth.
Randel and Cherie walked away, leaving Rebekah and Chuck alone.Rebekah's smile broadened as she watched them disappear into the crowd.
Chuck's gaze locked onto Rebekah's, his voice low and husky. "Hey, sweetheart."His lips brushed against her cheek, sending shivers down her spine."You look ravishing," he whispered, his breath tickling her ear.
Rebekah's cheeks flushed, her smile radiant. "Why, thank you."Chuck's arms enveloped her, pulling her close as his lips claimed hers. The kiss was tender, yet passionate.
Reluctantly, Chuck broke away. "As much as I'd love to stay like this with you, we really should be going."His lips grazed her cheek once more, before taking her hand."Shall we?" he asked, his eyes sparkling.Rebekah nodded, her smile lingering as they strolled toward the wedding ceremony.
