Get ready for the inaugural Shut Up and Write Awards 2024!

Who doesn't love book awards? Not only are they incredibly fun but they give new and experienced writers the joy of knowing they're doing the right thing, a pat on the back for a job well done and a book well written. Everyone is a winner, whether you come in first place or fall at the first hurdle (round one). You'll get much needed feedback to help you turn your story into something that has potential to be something amazing. Only with feedback, blood, sweat and tears will your book be worth reading.

So, do you believe your book has the potential to emerge victorious in this year's competition? Is it equipped with a captivating hook, a compelling blurb, and the ability to leave readers craving more?

If you're confident in your book's potential, submit it via our sign-up sheet. For these prestigious awards, we require all entries to be in English and to consist of a minimum of three chapters, or three chapters and a prologue.

Books will be judged by our team of judges and will focus on the spelling and the grammar of each chapter along with readability, cover and blurb, and how each chapter should be written. We will look at the information the writer has shown to the reader, so characters, setting, description, POV, etc.
