Chapter 25: Orphanage

Ishqi and Rajveer came in front of the orphanage where HOME was written on the board. Ishqi came out of the car and looked at the place where she was staying from her teenage years. There were many emotions on her face as she remembered her days when she was there. Slowly, her steps moved towards the gate of the orphanage, and she opened the gate where all the children were playing, there were many things for them to play with, the whole orphanage was surrounded by a beautiful flower garden and hence it looked very beautiful. Ishqi was lost in her memories and Rajveer was just looking at her. Both of them were lost in their own thoughts and a lady who worked in the orphanage saw Ishqi and came towards her...

The lady: Ishqi, after a long time, where did you go, do you know how worried I was not knowing where you were and whether you were okay or not... (cupping her face and with worried voice)

Ishqi: Dayi maa... (saying this she hugged her and started to cry)

The lady: Bachchi, what happened beta, why are you crying? Is everything alright? Are you okay? (patting her back and more worried voice)

Ishqi: Everything is okay Dayi maa, I missed you... (breaking the hug and whipping her tears)

The lady: I also missed you, you know I tried a lot to find you, but I couldn't find you anywhere, on top of that your college people also refused to give me your details, so I was scared not knowing where you were, but now I have seen you and now I don't want anything else... (with smile)

The lady was Sakuntala devi, Dayi maa of Orphanage children, then Dayi maa's gaze fall on Rajveer who was standing there, she looked at him with confusion, so Ishqi also looked at him and then Dayi maa, Ishqi went towards Rajveer and hold his hand, took him towards Dayi maa...

Ishqi: I will tell you everything but first let's go inside...

Dayi maa nodded and they went inside but all the way Ishqi did not leave Rajveer's hand, they went towards the warden's room where the main lady was staying, seeing the warden Ishqi's hold become tight on Rajveer's hand...

Dayi maa: madam...

Warden looked up from the work she was doing while removing her glasses, so her gaze fall on Ishqi, she stands up from her place and went towards her with a straight face, seeing her like this, Ishqi got scared for a moment but later she became calm and started looking at her...

Warden: Why have you come back here? You don't care about us at all, where were you missing for so long?

Ishqi: I am fine, don't worry. I have come here to collect my luggage...

Warden: You go and take your luggage, I want to talk to Mr. Singhania...

Ishqi looked at Rajveer who nodded at her, so she also nodded and went from there to her room to collect her luggage, the warden gestured to Rajveer to sit, and she also took her seat...

Warden: Look sir, I will not beat around the bush, she is a very delicate girl, even if she shows everyone that she is very strong but she is very soft hearted, she has suffered and seen a lot at a young age which she should not have seen and on top of that she lost a person who was like a mother to her. I don't know what her life will be like in the future, but I will say this much that all she needs now is love. I hope you will keep her happy...

Rajveer: Don't worry about her, I won't let anything happen to her. As long as Rajveer Singhania is alive, nothing can happen to Ishqi... (with very strong and determined voice)

Warden: Thank you sir... (Rajveer nodded)

Dayi maa: Did you know she was married?

Warden: Yes, I got a call from Mr. Singhania's grandmother, she told me everything. Can you take him to Ishqi's room? (Dayi maa nodded and took him to her room)

On the other side, Ishqi came to her room in a hurry and first of all took out her precious thing and checked whether it was alright or not. Seeing that it was alright, she felt relieved because that thing was someone's trust which she had to give. Then she started caressing it lovingly...

Ishqi: I will find you very soon and return the trust that is with me... (saying this she put the thing in her purse)

After that, she collected all her stuff and started packing it in a bag. By then, Rajveer had also arrived and was standing at the door, watching her as she packed her stuff, making different faces. Although her stuff was very less, still she was having trouble arranging it...

He came in and locked the door and started walking towards Ishqi who was struggling with the bags and luggage. Rajveer lifted her by the waist and made her stand in front of him, then took her in his arms and kissed her on the head. Ishqi was shocked by all this because she was so busy with her work that she did not even notice Rajveer...

Ishqi: Rajveer, what happened?

Rajveer: Nothing...

Ishqi: Please help me, mujhe samaj nahi aa raha kese packing karu...

Rajveer: hmm...

Then they completed her packing and Rajveer called one guard who took the bag, after that they were coming out but then Ishqi felt tug on her top, so she turned and looked who was there and she saw one little girl was standing there with a smile...

Ishqi: Smiley, how are you baby? (sitting on her knees and cupping her little face)

Smiley: Didi, when did you come?

Ishqi: I have just arrived... (with smile)

Smiley smiled and then her gaze fell on Rajveer who was standing there and looking at them...

Smiley: Who is this?

Ishqi: He is my husband, Rajveer...

Smiley: Oh, to he is my jiju right... (with cute smile)

Seeing this innocent soul Rajveer also sat on his knees...

Smiley: Hii jiju... (waving her little hand towards Rajveer)

Rajveer: Hii baby, how old are you?... (waving at her)

Smiley: I am four years old... (giggling)

Rajveer: Oho, do you go to study?

Smiley: Haa... (shaking her head like a good girl)

Rajveer: Good girl, Kon se school me?

Smiley: little garden...

Rajveer: Very good, Study well, like your didi...

Smiley: Yes Yes, I will become a doctor and save life... (acting like a doctor)

Hearing her Rajveer smile a little which was very rare, but Ishqi's eyes fill with tears, but she turned her face and wiped her tears and again looked at Smiley with a sad smile, all these things noticed by Rajveer, but he thought to ask her later...

Smiley: Didi, Will you go back again?

Rajveer: Your didi will keep coming back and now I will also come to meet you... (cupping her little face)

Smiley: Okay, I will wait... (with smile)

Ishqi: Baby ab hum chalte hai, vapas ayenge tumse milne... (kissed her forehead and went from there leaving Rajveer and Smiley)

Rajveer also bids a bye, and he also went from there and saw Ishqi was standing leaning against the car, but still stayed silent and made her seat in the car and they moved towards home...

Why Ishqi was reacting differently?
