Chapter 25: Orphanage

Ishqi and Rajveer came in front of the orphanage where HOME was written on the board. Ishqi came out of the car and looked at the place where she was staying from her teenage years. There were many emotions on her face as she remembered her days when she was there. Slowly, her steps moved towards the gate of the orphanage, and she opened the gate where all the children were playing, there were many things for them to play with, the whole orphanage was surrounded by a beautiful flower garden and hence it looked very beautiful. Ishqi was lost in her memories and Rajveer was just looking at her. Both of them were lost in their own thoughts and a lady who worked in the orphanage saw Ishqi and came towards her...

The lady: Ishqi, after a long time, where did you go, do you know how worried I was not knowing where you were and whether you were okay or not... (cupping her face and with worried voice)

Ishqi: Dayi maa... (saying this she hugged her and started to cry)

The lady: Bachchi, what happened beta, why are you crying? Is everything alright? Are you okay? (patting her back and more worried voice)

Ishqi: Everything is okay Dayi maa, I missed you... (breaking the hug and whipping her tears)

The lady: I also missed you, you know I tried a lot to find you, but I couldn't find you anywhere, on top of that your college people also refused to give me your details, so I was scared not knowing where you were, but now I have seen you and now I don't want anything else... (with smile)

The lady was Sakuntala devi, Dayi maa of Orphanage children, then Dayi maa's gaze fall on Rajveer who was standing there, she looked at him with confusion, so Ishqi also looked at him and then Dayi maa, Ishqi went towards Rajveer and hold his hand, took him towards Dayi maa...

Ishqi: Dayi maa, he is my husband, Rajveer Singhania... (with smile and looking at him)

Dayi maa: What? You got married without telling anybody... (with shock)

Ishqi: I will tell you everything but first let's go inside...

Dayi maa nodded and they went inside but all the way Ishqi did not leave Rajveer's hand, they went towards the warden's room where the main lady was staying, seeing the warden Ishqi's hold become tight on Rajveer's hand...

Dayi maa: madam...

Warden looked up from the work she was doing while removing her glasses, so her gaze fall on Ishqi, she stands up from her place and went towards her with a straight face, seeing her like this, Ishqi got scared for a moment but later she became calm and started looking at her...

Warden: Why have you come back here? You don't care about us at all, where were you missing for so long?

Ishqi: I am fine, don't worry. I have come here to collect my luggage...

Warden: You go and take your luggage, I want to talk to Mr. Singhania...

Ishqi looked at Rajveer who nodded at her, so she also nodded and went from there to her room to collect her luggage, the warden gestured to Rajveer to sit, and she also took her seat...

Warden: Look sir, I will not beat around the bush, she is a very delicate girl, even if she shows everyone that she is very strong but she is very soft hearted, she has suffered and seen a lot at a young age which she should not have seen and on top of that she lost a person who was like a mother to her. I don't know what her life will be like in the future, but I will say this much that all she needs now is love. I hope you will keep her happy...

Rajveer: Don't worry about her, I won't let anything happen to her. As long as Rajveer Singhania is alive, nothing can happen to Ishqi... (with very strong and determined voice)
