( Asked this on my other story but I figured I should ask it here too, so I wanna know what direction you all would like the story to go in? Maybe it could be more light hearted and silly, horror like and gory, a mix of both, or something completely different!!)
Eric chuckled at the bottom of the hill, he had only agreed to coming back out here so he could be alone, his bag was full of snacks and drinks that would definitely fill him before the other two came back. Eric sat on a slightly damp log that was against a small, slightly broken, brick wall, digging in his bag to grab something from his bag, but his head snapped up when he heard shuffling noises in the deeper parts of the woods. He squinted, trying to make out if there was an animal in there, he didn't see anything, so he figured it was just the wind moving through the plants. He shifted uncomfortably on the log, it was kinda damp, but it worked as a simple lounging place until the others came back. Then there was some more shuffling...And more...And some more. Eric huffed and stood up, closing his eyes and rubbing his temples. "I swear if one of you two are messing with me."
Dallas was salivating, a grin on his muzzle, it was the perfect time to pounce, and to mess with his prey. He crawled out of his hiding spot, and stood right in front of the other, towering over him, so when Eric finally opened his eyes, he could open his mouth wide and...
Eric held out one of his snacks, he seemed so unbothered other than a slight tremble in his hand, the one offering a snack to the beast standing in front of him, nearly drooling on him. They both stood still for a moment, Eric was contemplating running, and Dallas was just confused. Slowly, Dallas leaned down, and with unexpected carefulness, he took the snack between his teeth and leaned away, before he turned into a human form, his hair looked tousled and wild, the clothes he wore were torn but simple, but he looked like a regular guy. Again, they both stood in an awkward silence, before one of them finally spoke up. "Hi..." Eric mumbled, shifting at his feet. He couldn't believe what he was looking at, what he had just seen, it didn't feel real, it shouldn't be real, but he'd seen it himself. "You're cool." He whispered, watching as the wolf- boy ate the treat with an almost annoyed expression on his face.
"Mhm." Dallas just grumbled, finally finishing the food he'd been given before swallowing it down. "So..." He began to back up, getting ready to go back into the woods, but Eric had grabbed his arm. His eyes flashed a dangerous way as he quickly turned back to the other - who immediately let go -
"You can stay." Eric said nervously. "I won't tell anyone." He confirmed, hoping to get the other to stay, just so they could hang out and he could learn more about this not so human stranger. With clear hesitance, Dallas walked closer, dropping onto the log Eric had previously been sitting on. Eric followed.
They spent only a few minutes talking and sharing snacks before they heard commotion from atop the hill. Eric shot up, looking around and seeing Grizzy and Smitty running down the hill, Grizzy much further ahead, and the other looking like he was about to fall. "Hey? Hey! What happened?" Eric called out when they hit the bottom of the hill, both of them painting before Grizzy bunched him in the shoulder, clearly because of his whole leaving them behind trick.
"Honestly...I don't even know." The taller panted. "But, we're ok, right?" He turned to Smitty, freezing up for a second.
"Yeah, im good-" Smitty cut himself off when he felt something warm glide across his neck before disappearing, and suddenly Grizzy's finger was in his face, showing blood on his skin, blood from Smitty's neck.
