"This is so dumb." Grizzy grumbled into his hand, still tired from having his door pounded on so early in the morning, and by early, of course he meant 3:02 pm. Mcnasty was pretty tired too, but Smitty was more than energetic. They would ramble about things happening in their life, but other than that, they didn't talk much.

They continued their way through the forest, until they got to an area where they could start going up the hills they'd seen without having to climb through too much. The hills weren't steep, but they stretched pretty far, so they were heaving by the time they got up. Once they finally got up to the house, Smitty turned around. "So- wait, where's Mcnasty?" He asked, which got Grizzy to turn around and notice the absence.

"Bitch..." The younger huffed under his breath, mostly angry that he hadn't backed out when he could've.

"Don't even think of it." Smitty chuckled, getting Grizzy's attention back. The shorter of the two took a look in his bag and began digging around, pulling out one flashlight and tossing it to Grizzy, and keeping the other for his own. "We won't even be in there long, if at all!" He said before knocking on the door. They waited for a bit, knocked again, waited, and knocked once more, just to be sure. They didn't get a response and the door never opened, not to mention any lights inside seemed to be off, and there was no real sign of life.

With slight hesitation, Smitty turned the doorknob, the door practically opening on its own after. "Nervous?" Grizzy asked mockingly, pointing to the others shaky hands.

"Shut up!" Smitty chuckled, trying to keep the nervousness out of his voice. "I just didn't know it would look like a whole horror house." He said while flicking his camera on and stepping inside. He wasn't wrong either, the house looked like it had been made many years ago, almost medieval and witchy looking.

With a sigh, Grizzy followed Smitty into the house, it was pretty empty, and the layout wasn't too confusing, the first room was big, mostly in length rather than width, like a dining room, the next room was a kitchen, having built in cabinets and oven, but no appliances or anything. Out of curiosity, Smitty walked over and began looking in the cabinets and drawers, praying nothing would jump out at him.

They were as empty as everything else, filled with dust from time. "This oven looks ancient, man." Grizzy said, looking at the blocks of wood under it. "And yet it looks like the cleanest thing in here." He said, facing away from it so he could see behind him.

"Yeah." Smitty agreed, standing up from the cabinets and continuing their way through the house, going up and down stairs. Eventually, they got to a long hall, though it was clearly too big to be just a simple hall. Windows lined the hall, but the curtains blocked out any light. "Shit, it just keeps going! It didn't look nearly this big from the outside." Smitty huffed, his legs getting tired.

"I think we should fucking leave." Grizzy murmured.

"Yeah, leave."

Smitty froze at the sound of a voice unknown to him. He forced himself to turn around. "Who the- Grizzy!" Smitty called out, noticing the other was already gone. "What the fuck!" He felt sick already, dizzy too, he felt like passing out, but he couldn't let that happen when he didn't seem to be alone. So, despite his dizziness, he made a run for it, not sure where he was going, but just hoping for the best.

He couldn't believe Grizzy had ditched him that fast.
