X-Men To The Rescue!

Jean was dressed in her X-Men uniform, using Cerebro to mentally find Jake. As she was reaching out, Cyclops, Wolverine, Colossus, and Rogue came in, wearing their respective X-Men uniforms. "Have you found anything?" Cyclops asked. "I might be getting close," said Jean. Her eyes widened and she said, "aha! I've found Jake's consciousness. He's on a location on Arad Street... Looks to be an old abandoned building." Rogue typed on the computer right next to Cerebro to look up any abandoned buildings on Arad Street. "Ah found somethin' relevant to what you're sayin', Jean," said Rogue, "there was this one abandoned buildin' known as the Sazama Plaza. It went bankrupt 5 years ago, and it was purchased by... Graydon Creed..."

"I heard a few rumors through the grapevine that Creed got himself reinstated with the Friends of Humanity after the jackasses that kicked him out disappeared under mysterious circumstances," said Wolverine. "Sounds like he murdered them," said a disgusted Colossus. "Ah think the Friends Of Humanity mighta kidnapped Jake!" Rogue said worriedly. "You just might be right," said Cyclops, "everyone, let's all five of us get in my car and we'll drive over to Sazama and rescue Jake. No killing, we need to set a good example and make sure these people are held accountable by the law."

"Can I at least kick their asses?" Wolverine asked. "You don't have to go too easy on them," said Cyclops, "maim, don't kill. Let's move, X-Men!"

Meanwhile at the Sazama Plaza, Jake was tied on his hands and knees, still unconscious. His unconscious body was dragged all the way to the podium. Eventually, Jake bolted awake. He looked around, scared and confused. "About time you woke up," said one of the members. "Where am I? How long was I out?" Jake asked, realizing his arms and legs were tied. "You're at our hideout on none of your damn business Street," said another one of the members. Wandering over to where Jake was in front was none other than Graydon Creed himself. "Well, well, well, the heir to the kingdom arrives..." Graydon said condescendingly. Jake's eyes widened as he stammered, "y-y-y-you!! You're Graydon Creed!" Graydon gave a cruel smile and asked, "so you know who I am?"

"Yeah I've heard about you," confirmed Jake, "You're the founding member and de facto leader of the Friends of Humanity. I remember reading about you when I was in high school..." Graydon still carried an arrogant and cruel smile as he asked, oh really? Did your teacher tell your class how heroic me and the Friends of Humanity are?" Jake shook his head and said, "no. In fact you and your group are the complete opposite of heroic. My teacher taught us what happens when you join a group built on bigotry and hate and that you're no better than a terrorist. The Friends of Humanity are a fine example of a terroristic hate group." Graydon's smile dropped and he screamed, "YOU DARE CALL ME A TERRORIST?!?!?! MUTANTS ARE THE REASON SOCIETY IS SLIDING INTO A DOWNWARD SPIRAL!!! THEY RUIN EVERYTHING!!!"

Jake sighed, "I'll admit that people like Magneto don't make it easy for mutants. But most other mutants are still good people with hopes and dreams. You claimed to be doing good for humanity but all I see is you assholes attacking innocent people and destroying property if anything is affiliated with mutants. I know who your parents are, Mr Creed. I do want to feel bad for the child you once were being abused by your own father because you were different. Hell, your upbringing is a fine example of the phrase every child deserves a parent, but not every parent deserves a child. Still, I can't excuse your actions!" Graydon smacked Jake across the face and screamed, "DON'T YOU DARE TALK ABOUT MY FATHER OR THAT WHORE THAT DARED TO CALL HERSELF MY MOTHER!!! I HATE MY FATHER, I'M NOTHING LIKE HIM!!!" Jake looked at Graydon with fear. "Why are you doing this to me?" he asked.

"Because people like you make me sick!" Graydon snapped, "why do you dare have romantic relations with mutant scum, especially a freak of nature like Rogue?!?!?!" Jake glared at Graydon and said, "hey you don't talk smack about my girlfriend! She is not a freak! I love her! If you've got a problem with a human dating a mutant, the joke's on you! Technically I'm a mutant!" The FOH members murmured in confusion. How could this be so? "What do you mean you're technically a mutant?!?!?!" Graydon asked with a combination of anger and confusion. "Okay, it's true that Anna can absorb a person's memories and life force through touching and other intimate uses," said Jake, "And this is going to sound crazy, but I am literally one of the few people that is capable of touching Anna and kissing her without having my life force or memories drained. I'm actually immune to her powers. This negating of absorption powers is my mutant power, so by default, I'm a mutant."

As Graydon listened to Jake's explanation, his face was dumbfounded. He looked like a fish in a bowl constantly gaping, he was unable to comprehend what was going on. His group not only kidnapped the descendant of a respected war time hero, but this descendant was also a mutant! "And I know what you're going to say, so I'll answer it. Yes, my parents and my sister know I'm a mutant," said Jake, "and unlike your parents *Mr Creed,* my parents accept me for who I am because at least my parents actually love me, unlike your parents." Jake nicknamed Graydon "Mr Creed," in an ironic and mocking tone. "You may not be a human then," said Graydon, "but I am right about one thing! You bring disgrace to your family name by being a mutant freak, Jake Phillips Jr! And I will make sure you burn for being an unholy abomination, and when we capture your girlfriend, we will make the world watch as we kill you both!!!"

Suddenly, the door to the entrance exploded open, revealing the five members of the X-Men. Colossus was in his metallic form and Wolverine's claws were out. "Stop right there, Creed!" Cyclops said, "let Phillips go, now!!!" Graydon glared at the X-Men and yelled, "NEVER!!! FRIENDS OF HUMANITY, DESTROY THEM ALL!!! BUT LEAVE THE SOUTHERN BITCH ALIVE! I WANT HER ALIVE LONG ENOUGH SO THAT SHE AND HER FREAK OF A BOYFRIEND CAN DIE TOGETHER WHEN WE FILM THIS LIVE!!!" As about 100 Friends Of Humanity members charged forth to attack, Cyclops said, "to me, my X-Men! Rogue, you focus on saving Jake. We'll focus on fighting these members off! Remember, maim, don't kill!" Rogue flew to get away from any of the FOH members as the rest of the X-Men fought these terrorists of hate.

Cyclops used his lazer eye beams to knock down FOH members and destroy their guns. Jean used her telepathic powers to knock down these FOH members like bowling pins, sometimes messing with their minds to think they were dealing with their greatest fears. Wolverine used his claws to destroy the guns and he would punch and kick, holding back of course. Because Colossus was in his metallic form, the guns did not pierce his skin, and they would ricochet hitting others, and he used his strength to knock down these FOH members. Rogue made it to the center of the podium, and there she found Jake. "Hey gorgeous... Sorry we had to meet up like this," said Jake. "No need to apologize sugah," said Rogue, "Ah'm gonna git you outta here." Graydon then shot near Rogue's foot to get her attention. "I'll shoot flesh next time," threatened Graydon, "Make one more move, and I will make sure your boyfriend gets a closed casket funeral..."

"Why is it whenever we have a sibling reunion, it escalates to you holding me or my friends at gunpoint?" Rogue asked while raising her hands up. "Don't make me laugh," snapped Graydon, "you may be goody goody with that blue bitch and call her Mama! But that bitch abandoned me!!! She ain't my family!!! You love this freak so much, you can die with him! You mutants don't deserve to live and love!!! EARTH IS NOT FOR MUTANTS!!! EARTH IS FOR HUMANS ONLY!!! DEATH TO ALL MUTANTS, YOU RUIN EVERYTHING!!! YOU -" Suddenly, something strong and metallic struck Graydon on the back of the head, knocking him out. Who knocked out Graydon? It was Colossus as his visibility was revealed. Jean used her telepathic powers to make Colossus seem invisible to Graydon and his hateful cronies as he snuck up and knocked him out with one punch. Colossus glared at Graydon and said, "you talk too much." By now, every member of the FOH was knocked unconscious. Rogue untied Jake's arms and legs and said, "Ah got you, sugah." Jake stood up and said, "my hero. Thank you Colossus. Thank you all for saving me." Colossus smiled and nodded

"Of course Jake," said Cyclops, "The X-Men are more than just a team. We're a family, and we practically view you as part of our family just as much as Anna does. Jean and I sent a tip to the cops about your possible kidnapping, and so did your father. They should be here by now..." And right on cue, police officers from the New York precinct, including Jefferson Davis-Morales, barged into the abandoned building. "Officer Davis-Morales, good to see you." Cyclops said respectfully, "we managed to knock out Graydon Creed and his cronies while rescuing Mr Phillips. I'd be happy to testify anything that might have happened." After clarifying everything that happened and all the members of the Friends Of Humanity were all arrested on various crimes, Rogue held Jake bridal style while kissing him on the lips with great passion and love and then she said, "let's get you home, Sugah." As Rogue flew Jake back to reunite him with his family, they knew that not even bigots like the Friends Of Humanity could ever destroy their true love.
