"Oh what a record, a whole family in one day!You weren't home when I was there, were you?"What is this creature?!Its tall, sharp toothed and it has red eyes.Just like me.But we're nothing alike.This...this thing is evil, I can feel it in my bones.Sure, him admitting to murdering my family was a good pointer but his dark aura was the main one.

I can't bring myself to speak...I have to think fast!He skips towards me menacingly.If I don't act now, I'll end up like everyone else!I look around, seeing a spear like stick and picking it up.

"Aww a spear?How...Cute"he grins ear to ear."You wanna know a secret little mouse?"he leans in, his voice dropping to a whisper "I killed your family out of boredom"
My eyes widen, both anger and grief surging through me.I didn't think, I didn't make a sound but what I did do...was thrust the makeshift spear through his stomach.

I wasn't expecting him to laugh, any human would be rolling in pain but no, he laughs.He laughs at my final attempt at living.

I lean back against the tree, beautiful memories coursing through my mind.

"Sister, can we watch the sunset together tonight?Id like to paint it"
That's right...Nari always did like painting...

"Anza can you show me trick you showed Nari with the sword?The one with the spins?"and Suske,he would've made a great swordsman one day.

Wait...that's it!Im not any swordswoman but there's at least one move I can do; The upturned spin.I grip the spear, pulling it out of the...Beast...And standing up.

"Aww is the poor defenseless human trying to hurt me?"He teased."Your sisters screams when she died were-" I wouldn't let him finish his sentence.I jumped up, spinning midair and jamming the spear through the top of his skull.
He seems stunned, but he still speaks."Filthy brat!Ohhh your head is going to look perfect in my house~"
He said in an almost moan?

I open my eyes, the beasts face is blank, it's neck bleeding.I look behind it...a man.He's tall, dark hair and wearing a two toned Haori.He wields a sword, which is facing forward as I watch the beasts head fall off.

My eyes widen, so does my jaw in pure shock.The man turns to me, sheathing his sword back into its sheathe."You're not the first person I found today in your state, that move you pulled back there...very impressive.Do you carry weapons often?"
I'm still shocked to my core, I just watched someone's head fall off and I'm being asked if I carry weapons?And what does he mean I'm not the first person he's found like me today, are there other people that have been attacked by these creatures?
"Not talking huh?Whats your name?"
"Anza...Anza F-Fumikage"
"My name is Giyuu Tomioka, you can call me Tomioka"
I just nodded, staring at my hands that were now covered in blood not of my own.How am I even supposed to react to something like this?How would you react if you watched a creatures head fall from its shoulders?
"W-what was that thing?Some kind of...of creature?Am I hallucinating?"
He shakes his head, looking at the creature on the floor."He's a demon"he said, matter of factly.
I beg your holy pardon?Were just going to skip past that sentence?"A-a WHAT?!Are you pulling my leg?!"
"If you want more answers, there's a man in the mountains who can tell you.His name is Sakonji Urokodaki, he will help you from there"Oh yay, we just met and already he's brushing me off and sending me into the mountains...not even five minutes after being attacked by a 'Demon'."Alone?You want me to go alone?After just being attacked by a 'demon'?Are you insane?!"
