Travis' POV

"Mmmm Tay. Baby we have to stop if we want to make it on time." I groan as Taylor keeps kissing  my neck in the one spot she knows is my favorite.

"Come on. We have at least two hours til  we have to leave." Taylor whispered, still kissing me.

"Baby that was over an hour ago. We have to leave in them next 30 minutes if we want to arrive to Pat and Brittany's for brunch." I said, and she stops midway.

"30 minutes?" She gasped. "Oh no! What will we ever do?" She said in a dramatic unconvincing tone.

"Baby."

"I mean we could not show up at all." She smirked.

"Tay. You know we can't. We already bailed last time. Do you remember how they all kept making kissy noises at me when we had practice. They finally stopped just last week." I roll my eyes slightly, as I see Taylor shift from behind my back to moving towards my lap.

"Oh yeah. That was funny. I remember that." Taylor laughed, now laying completely on me.

"Yeah. Cause it wasn't you they were laughing at. Then when they saw you, they were asking if you and I were going to sneak away to have a quickie. That was also in-front of Coach Reid." I say, gently moving her off me, so we can get ready. "So if we get ready and leave in the next 20 minutes, I'll give you whatever you want tonight." Taylor tilted her head as if she was one of the cats when we tell them to get off the kitchen counter. "We can even try from that one chapter from your book. The one you just read."

"Oh yeah?" She looked up.

"Oh yes." I sigh. "But we gotta move move move."

"Sir yes sir.. Daddy." She whispers out the last part.

"Fuck." I groaned quietly as I see her about to get her clothes. "You're lucky at how much I love you."

"I know." Taylor grins.

I love her so fucking much. She is the most perfect, gorgeous, beautiful person to ever exist with a pure heart of gold. I want to make sure I treat her the way she deserves to be treated. With the most love and respect for her, the career she's built for herself, her legacy. If I could shout from the rooftops how proud I am of her and show her off to the world, I would do it in a heartbeat. But I am scared of her publicist Tree so that's on the back burner for now.

I am looking through my closet and decide on a light blue linen shirt and casual dress pants. Nothing crazy since it was just brunch at the Mahome's and it was just me and Tay, and some people from the team. I fix myself in the bedroom mirror, but I see something on my neck. As I examined it closer, I realized what it was.

A hickey.

Normally I leave marks all over Taylor and everyone will tease us in good fun but this is the first time she's ever left a visible mark on me. She's usually the one who has to stop us before we mark each other up, to make sure nothing visible is seen.

"Princess you ready to go?" I call out, trying to adjust my shirt, so it is not as obvious I have a hickey on me.

"Yeah I'm coming, I'm coming." I hear as Taylor walks into the foyer with her purse in one hand, and her trying to get her sandals on with the other hand. She's wearing a simple light blue sundress with little white flowers scattered all around. Gorgeous as ever. As she walks closer to the door, I stop her to see if she'll notice my neck. "What are you doing? I thought we had to leave. We're already late!"

"Baby do I look okay?" I ask sheepishly, putting my hands in my pocket.

"Yes. Are we really going to play fashionista again?" Annoyed as she walked off to grab a bottle of wine to bring.

"Ok let me be more specific. How does my neck look?" I make her stare at my neck.

"Oh my." Was all she said, before starting to laugh. "Damn I really left that?"

"I guess so." I laughed.

"Didn't know I had it in me either." She smiled, as I open the door for her and lead her out to the car. We didn't really need security since it was just Pat and Brittany's home and they were in a close enough distance from our Kanas City home. When we arrived, Brittany and Taylor hugged each other as if they haven't seen each other in months, we just went out to dinner with them two weeks ago. While Pat and I did our 'bro hug' as Taylor calls it.

"Nice to see you guys arrive. I was starting to think you weren't going to show up at all." I hear  Chris exclaim, coming over to greet us.

"Well be happy we did decide to grace you with our presence." Taylor laughs while picking up Bronze.

"Well I for sure am happy. Too much testosterone in the room." Brittany said. "Here you guys can start brining everything to the table. Everything is just about done. Taylor and I are going to pour a glass of wine that she brought.

As everyone sits down at the table, Taylor sits on my right side, where the hickey is, in hopes of having her head block it from everyone else. I look slightly at Taylor while holding a conservation with Creed about what, I wish I knew. But I sense her telling me to fix my shirt because it is starting to become obvious that it is going to become exposed to everyone and everyone does not need to see the aftermath of our sex life.

I gently tug at the collar of my shirt, trying to adjust it and I see Rasshee's eyes go wide. Only Pat has ever almost walked in on us, and he's seen us jumping each other at random moments so this wasn't anything he wasn't used to. Everyone else, that was a different story.

"Hey Trav." Rasshee nudged quietly, trying to avoid looking at Taylor who is oblivious  to the scene about to play out.

"What's up?" I questioned, slightly confused because I had fixed my shirt before.

"Your shirt." He barely mumbled, trying to get the words without brining attention to himself.

"What's wrong with Trav?" Brittany questions drinking her wine about to pour a second glass since she was leaving Patrick on children and cleanup with the guys so her and the other wags could have wine day.

"Oh. That's just Taylor and Travis leaving marks on each other. No big deal. It happens all the time. Though I will say this is the first ands biggest one Taylor's left on Travis in awhile. Normally it's Travis marking Taylor. Nice job Tay. You tamed the Big Yeti." Patrick says nonchalantly as he's reaching for more food.

Taylor turns to me red with embarrassment, trying to not cause a scene and I am left speechless. It is true that Taylor and I have a very active bedroom life, maybe too active but the way Patrick said it so casually almost made me want to shrivel up because no one on the team is going to let me live that one down for awhile.

"Oh that was nothing. Don't worry about it." I mummer. Anything I say won't help and if I don't say anything it's going to add fuel to the fire.

"I'm gonna go get more wine." Taylor says quickly running off to get her wine. Thank fucking god she brought wine because it was going to be a long conversation.

"So Trav that was why you guys were late. As per usual. You couldn't keep your hands off each other?" Chris laughs.

"Hey if you have someone like her you wouldn't keep your hands off either." I smirked, watching Taylor chug what would be her third glass of wine. Now onto her fourth. Wine Drunk Tay is pretty entertaining and hopefully she'll forget what happened.

I see Taylor stumble back into the dining area where we are having brunch. Her wine glass in one hand, the bottle in the next. Surprising everyone with what she says next.

"So I hear I give pretty good hickeys."
