CHAPTER 33

A handsome man was lying on a soft bed. He had a bandage around his forehead. The door to the room creaked open and the shadow of two people can be seen.
Person 1: "Why is he not awake yet"
Person 2: "The hit to his head was hard. The doc said it will take time. His body temperature is also high so its better this way"
Person 1: "Bro you really are brave. How do you wanna explain this to boss"
Person 2: "I don't know but what I do know is that boss will surely send us to Baskin underground"
Hearing that name sent a shiver down both of their body.
Person 1: "Damn those bastards. They diverted my focus. Ohh how I wish I could crush them again"
Person 2: "Well its too late to regret. Let's go. We have to inform boss about all these and also notify the doctor to check him again"
Saying this both of them left the room.

At around 10am the mehra and gasper family reached the vacation spot. Ophelia and adriti arranged the vacation settings while the male group except for acacia, who was absent and magnus who went on a walk with Maya, started building the tent. Nix was seated on the blanket with a chocolate cookie on her chubby hands.
The beautiful sound of birds chirping and the rustling of trees gave a sense of peace to people who are experiencing it. Well everyone except for Hayes who had a sullen expression and maverick who was glaring at him. Ophelia was trying to control her laughter along with ledger and niall. Adriti on noticing their expression asked," hey lia did something happen on your way here? Why does Hayes face look like he was punched on his face and what happened to Maverick. I thought he and acacia were not gonna join us"
Hearing this Ophelia let out a laugh and explained what happened on their way to the park.

FLASHBACK
While on their way, Hayes lost sight of both the cars. Everyone except him were fast asleep and he didn't know the actual route. So he parked the car on the side of the road, took out his mobile to call Anil for the route. That's when he noticed that there was no tower. Not knowing what to do, he got down from the car and saw that a black car was behind their car.
Hayes got alert and he went inside the car and secured a gun. He kept it inside his pants and went towards the car.
When he sneaked the car door, suddenly it opened, hitting him in the face. In a reflex he gave the person a strong punch in the gut and pulled his legs making him fall to the ground. He felt several people exit from the car and reaching person whom he injured.
When Hayes opened his eyes, at first it was slightly blurry and once it was slightly clear, he saw a familiar person holding his stomach and glaring at him.
"Dad what are you doing here"
"You brat -ouch- you dare hit me -ahh damn it-"
Ophelia who woke up feeling no movement got down from the car just to see her son sitting on the road holding his head and maverick holding his stomach and being supported by two bodyguards. Feeling worried she reached them and asked about the situation. A bodyguard explained the series of event.
Hearing this Ophelia felt laughter bubbling inside her stomach. Though she was concerned about both of them but the situation was just really funny.
Maverick apparently wanted to join them on the vacation so he let acacia handle the meeting alone and came in another car with some bodyguards to safeguard them in the park. When he saw that Hayes parked the car at the side, he asked the driver to stop the car but didn't leave the car to see what he was up to. When he saw that Hayes was approaching the car, Maverick didn't expect him to sneak towards the passenger seat. Well the rest is history. LOL
