HEY I'M STILL HERE
this chapter is pretty much a continuation of the other and I had it planned for a while so yeah it's already here (plus I had to make myself be forgiven for all the absence) 😈
Also I'm sorry if I can't quite describe both their emotions precisely but I want to precise that that's the whole point, because they don't know it either (not me trying to do a full immersion lol)
I also apologize if my English is bad or if I make a lot of repetitions but I don't have a vast vocabulary and it's not my first language 😭💀
Hope you enjoy, let me know if there's something you would like to see in future chapters, or maybe if you want a side story of a specific character/duo I can make it happen.
Thank you for reading my story this far! 🙏

Chapter 13
Third person pov:
Yuta and Taeyong kept staring at each other. They did for a while, and to be honest none of them realized how long it was. Until the look in Taeyong's eyes changed. It was... Hesitant, softer, regretful even. He gulped, a sign to try to keep control from slipping. Yuta was still elaborating everything, but he could hear footsteps moving away, the boy in front of him backing until the connection of their eyes broke. The footsteps disappeared. Completely.
Yuta was confused, somehow not irritated anymore. He has never, and he means it, seen that expression on Taeyong's face. It almost looked like he was guilty, like he realized he was doing too much. And Yuta would've ran after him, he could've. He might be dazed but he felt like a once in a time moment was slipping away. He wasted no time, got up from bed and running outside, the rain pouring, pouring like the day they met each other after months, and Taeyong was walking in the distance under it. Was he really going home like that? Walking all the way to his house? Yuta felt bad, I mean who wouldn't? He tried to call after him, but his words got stuck in his throat and he could just run.
His footsteps were delicate in the rain, yet Taeyong heard every one of them, stopping in his tracks and turning around to look at the boy running to him. That until they were silently staring at each other again. But this time there's more distance, which somehow none of them wants to surpass.
Yuta was the first one to break the ice, his tone was almost but hoarse due to everything that happened and the running.
Yuta: "what are you doing? You're not walking all the way to your house under this rain"
Taeyong: "You should go back home"
That was a firm answer, and Yuta could feel his chest pain a bit as he seemed to have turned back being the cold and distant Taeyong as before. He was annoying, nice, caring then back to ana asshole all in... in one night? The redhead couldn't help being confused at that, almost in disbelief at the sudden change.
Yuta: "Huh?!-"
Taeyong: "get your ass back home!"
That made him jolt a bit. And seeing that hurt Taeyong. He didn't mean to sound so mad, and he was starting to regret it, but he kept his act.
Taeyong: "Yuta I'm not going to repeat myself"
Yuta: "What the fuck is wrong with you?!"
Of course, Yuta doesn't go down with that, he never did. It both annoys and hurts Taeyong. He doesn't want to be the bad guy, but he's not even going to let a stubborn boy influence his feelings.
Taeyong: "I told you to go home, is that too hard to understand? Did the red dye intoxicate your brain or something?"
Yuta's face contorts a bit in anger and something else Taeyong knows too well.

insane because of you
FanfictionTaeyong and Yuta hated each other, and they still do. I mean, a rich, fake, and selfish boy couldn't tolerate the presence of a sassy redhead who doesn't know his place. Hold on, let me rephrase that. They think it would be correct to say they hate...
