I dream of a land far away
With wind so soft to touch
That lifts me up to sway
But doesn't say so much
I dream of clouds & sun
That fill the sky silently
And while the wind spun
They watched over me
I dream of fresh green
That colors this world
Asks quietly to be seen
But doesn't say a word
I dream of these things
With their fresh beauty
And as the night sings
It waits for me to see
Even though I dream
Of these silent lands
With stunning gleam
Their silence stands
For that what I crave
And what I must seek
While the day will rave
And I might feel weak
But I am to remember
This quiet I was given
Will be my defender
When I have striven
And night falls again
This peace will hush
And hold me then
So I don't hurt as much.
