Much to my relief, it was weekend already. Although my first day at school went a lot better than expected, it still didn't change the fact that I had to wake up at freaking six in the morning. Nothing in this world can change my hate for schools and classes.

My feet carefully stepped down the stairs of the darkened theatre hall, settling down in one of the leather couches beside the twins. It was truly a miracle how I didn't just trip down these almost invisible stairs and smashed my nose against the floor.

Ouch, even that thought alone sounded painful.

Apparently, Kallias has a ritual of summoning all our brothers during the weekend to watch movies. I really don't know why he gave it such special emphasis, given how he simply can't survive without watching a movie for even a day. I was really contemplating on refusing his offer politely and sleeping for another hour, but the irresistible puppy dog eyes of my brother made me give into his offer with a smile. He was too sweet to say no to.

However, all traces of sleep vanished from me when our three eldest brothers announced that they took the day off and was going to join us for the movie. I wasn't that surprised about Ezekiel, but Elijah and Damon? That took me off-guard. They are the most workaholic people I have ever met in my life. And though I wouldn't admit it out loud, I loved the idea of spending time with Damon and Elijah.

The former doesn't speak much, but that wasn't even a bit of a problem since his presence was enough for you to know that he was a great listener. And with the latter, I surprisingly never ran out of topics to talk with. We could be talking about pancakes for a minute and the next minute, we would be wondering who thought it was a good idea to invent pineapple pizza.

In short, I was quite excited for today. But that is just me, I guess, since someone else was clearly not happy to be woken up so early.

"This movie is absolute shit." My youngest eldest brother complained for the fifth time now, throwing a popcorn inside his mouth. "Is this even supposed to be called a horror movie?"

"We didn't even start watching it." Ezekiel deadpaned, settling down on the couch beside me with a glass in his hand. According to Elijah, that was the green poison he liked to consume to stay fit. I partially agreed with him, it smelled like green vegetables and chemicals. "Do you want the ghost to pop out and introduce herself?"

"Then start the damn movie already." Killian grumbled, just as Elijah entered the theater hall. "Has Damon started harvesting corns out there or what?"

"I can't imagine Damon as a farmer." Elijah snorted, as I mentally envisioned him in the middle of a cornfield. Yeah, it definitely didn't go right with his dry and blunt persona. "Can you go and check on him though, Ara?"

"Sure." I smiled, getting up and wincing when I stepped on Kallias' foot. He acted like he was dying, making Killian smack him on the head. I laughed out with an apology and went up the stairs again in search Damon.

"Smaltire il corpo con attenzione." A voice came out from the living room, as I made my way there. Damon was standing there, facing the tall windows of the foyer with his hands inside his sweatpants pocket. He was finally dressed in some informal clothes other than those dark suits. "There shouldn't be any traces of bloo-"

(Dispose the bodies carefully.)

He turned around while speaking and stopped mid-sentence, stiffening after noticing me standing a few steps away from him. What was he about to say? It was probably something related to his business. "I will call you back later."
