Dozing in and out of consciousness, I tried to keep my focus on the large, bright screen infront of me. The chilly temperature of the room only made me feel more sleepy, as I shuffled closer inside the blanket and held it against my chest.

"Shit, no!" I flinched awake at the sound of Kallias' raucous voice, sitting up straight to see what happened in the movie, Final Destination 5, we were watching. Nothing new happened actually, except for the fact that another person faced a painful death.

Kallias literally dragged me out of my room this evening, saying that I needed to get out of my cave and enjoy some of his favourite movies. We had already watched three of them, my eyes drying up from staying at the screen for so long. The tasty snacks he prepared for us kept me distracted, though.

After the whole mall fiasco, I mostly stayed cooped up inside my room, caught up in my depressing thoughts. I couldn't even sleep at night that well, only a hour or two and then I would jump awake from nightmares. It was a mess. I was a mess.

The only times I came out from my room was to eat all the three meals, which Ezekiel demanded I must have. His sudden attention on me and my health really surprised since he never even spared me a glance, let alone talk with me. I was becoming confused from his change of behaviour. It is almost like he is trying, trying to give me a chance. For instance, he recently started greeting me with a quiet good morning before every breakfast and made sure I never missed a meal. Not only was I confused from his concerns towards me, I also felt awkward and wasn't sure how to react to all the support they provided me with. Their patience towards me is making me question their character, weather they are good people or not.

"Sorry, were you sleeping?" I blinked, turning my droopy eyes beside me, where Kallias was laying on the couch like a starfish. He had a blanket wrapped around him, much similar to my fluffy one which he lend me from his room.

I shook my head in reply and tried to come up with a reply which wouldn't sound lame. He would deem me as a boring person who couldn't even stay awake during a movie if I told him the truth. "I just got startled." That sounded so lame.

"You are obviously tired. Lie down and get some sleep, bambina." Kallias put aside the carton of popcorn on the armrest, pulling his blanket off and taking the remote in his hand. "I will wake you up once they get home." He turned off the movie, giving me a reassuring smile.

It was around nine in the evening and all the other brothers were still not in the mansion. Kallias informed me that they were called in for an urgent meeting and would be back before midnight. Although I believed him, it was still sceptical how they avoided the topic of what their jobs are. All the wealth and luxuries acquired by them still made my head spin. What was the source behind all these?

Before I could deny and tell him I was fine, the sound of the front door opening filled the silence of the room we were in, the theatre room, to be more precise.

My eyes almost popped out of their socket when Kallias first brought me in here. I still couldn't believe the fact that they had their own theatre room, which by the way looked absolutely amazing. An enormous TV held up at the centre, multiple comfy couches placed one after another, a mini vending machine for snacks at the corner, everything looked perfect.
