"Guys, I have a theory." Jackson started after school a couple days later. "What is it?" Caleb asked. "What if the DollMaker is going after Mason this year?" Jackson suggested. "What do you mean?" Jim Flynn asked. "I don't know, I just get that feeling for some reason." Jackson explained.

13-year-old Jim Flynn was tied with Jackson for the smartest kid in their school. He would gain the title once Jackson moved into the High School for his Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years. Jim had short, brown hair, dark brown eyes, light skin, was on the smaller side (about 5'2 3/4 in height, still growing).

"The doll is really creepy if you ask me." Jim commented. "My adopted siblings have been saying that I've been acting really strange ever since the doll showed up." Mason explained. "But I don't remember anything." "You have been Mason." Rachel protested. "Once again, I don't remember anything." Mason reminded her. "I think that's why it's called 'mind control' Mason." Jackson agreed.

"Okay, so, what are we dealing with here?" Louis asked.

11-year-old Louis Wright had no connections to the group other than being one of Jim's closest friends. He had blond hair, bright blue eyes, light skin, and (like Jim) was on the smaller side (about 4'9 in height, still growing, just starting growth sperts and grew three inches over night).

"We're dealing with someone known as the DollMaker." Rachel explained. "He makes creepy looking dolls like James and sends them to different families in Late August and September so the doll can bond with a member of the group or household and eventually turn that person into a doll like what almost happened with Jack last year." "From what Phil told me, his ultimate goal is to turn everybody in the world into dolls." Daniela finished.

15-year-old Daniela Smith was Phil's older sister. She had a small crush on Gavin, but it was more of just a teenage crush than anything special like what Jackson and Gavin had. She had dirty blonde hair, dark brown eyes, light skin, and was tall (about 5'6) and about average.

"That doesn't sound scary at all." Maria replied, sarcastically.

10-year-old Maria Knight had only just recently joined the group and was still meeting everybody since their friend group was so big at this point. Probably due to how many siblings Gavin had. She had long, brown hair, green eyes, light skin, and was a bit on the shorter side like Rachel and Hannah (about 4'7).

"And if you don't save that person by midnight on Halloween, they turn into a doll forever." Rachel added. "What's up with Mason?" Mila asked.

14-year-old Mila Li had the biggest crush on Jackson's twin brother Kenji. She had curly, dirty blonde hair that was the same length as Sally's, hazel eyes, light skin, and had the same body type as Daniela (about 5'4 in height).

"What do you mean?" Jim asked. "He's just staring at the doll." Rachel explained with a slight nervous tremble in her voice. "That's not creepy at all." Daniela commented, sarcastically.

Mason then looked up at the group and said one thing, his gaze sending a cold shiver right down Caleb's spine. "Her name is Abigail." "How do you know?" He asked, calmly. "She told me." Mason explained. "Cool." Caleb replied, trying to be as supportive as he could.

"Hey, Mason, dude, are you okay?" Caleb asked when Mason started staring at the doll again. He snapped in fingers in Mason's face a couple times before Mason blinked and looked at him with confusion plain as day on his face. "Yeah, I'm fine." He responded. "Why?" "You were just staring at the doll." Jim explained, looking at Abigail with slight fear.

"Mason, are you sure that the DollMaker isn't controlling you?" Jackson asked. "Yes!" Mason replied, a little louder than he intended. "Why is everyone so paranoid about whether or not the DollMaker is back and trying to control me or not?" "Because you've been acting strange." Daniela explained. "So what?" Mason asked. "It's not like the DollMaker's trying to mind control me or something." "I'm pretty sure that's what he's trying to do." Rachel commented. Mason rolled his eyes. "Whatever."

"Guys, Mason's not usually like this." Jackson pointed out. "I think the DollMaker might be trying to control him."
