"What's this?" Jackson glanced up from his book to see what Caleb was looking at. "What's what?" He responded. "It looks like a book of some kind." Caleb explained, picking up the book and examining it. "Maybe a spellbook, though I highly doubt it."
"Why?" Kenji wondered. "First of all, I'm old enough to know that magic doesn't exist, though I'm having a hard time believing that thanks to the DollMaker." Caleb answered. Jackson turned his head to one side when he saw words on the spine of the book. "Open this book to find all the answers." "What's that?" Caleb asked. "Those are the words written on the spine of the book." Jackson explained. Caleb glanced at it, and saw what the younger teen had seen. "Maybe it is a spellbook." He murmered, barely loud enough for Jackson's sensitive werewolf ears to pick up.
"Well, what are you waiting for?" Maxwell asked, impaitently. "Open it and see what it says!" Caleb swallows, nervously, and opens the book to the page they need, somehow being on the first page. "It says that the first thing we to find is," Alexander paused, squinting his eyes to see if he was hallucinating, then tlited his head to one side, "zombie blood?"
"What's zombie blood?" Jackson asked. "It sounds gross." Jonah commented. "Zombie blood is just that," Kenji started, "the blood of a zombie." Jackson wanted to puke. "I'm not getting it." He stated, trying to not throw up in the middle of the room. "Thanks for that Kenji." Mila said, her voice hinting that she, too, was grossed out at just the thought of it. "So, who remembers where we need to go?" Sally asked. "Cause I don't."
"Don't you dare reveal where the zombie blood is or something WILL happen!" Mason threatened. "We need to find a river near a fountain and that's where the zombie blood will be I think." Jonah explained, remembering what his sister told him when she got home a couple days ago. "Make this quick." Hannah demanded. "I have somewhere to be." "Whatever you say Ms. Grumpypants." Sally replied.
Gavin groaned and rubbed the bridge of his nose with two fingers. "I hope this doesn't take long." "Master will not be pleased with us." Mason said. Gavin looked at him and tightened his grip over Rosemary. "Indeed."
Unknowingly to the rest of the group, Gavin had started to transform.
