"Something is wrong with Mason." Caleb stated. "He's been acting like Aubrey said he would in a text I got yesterday." Jackson bit his lip, carefully so he didn't hurt himself due to his werewolf canines. "I'm starting to get a little worried." Jackson replied.

"What's there to be worried about?" Mason asked. "I don't understand why you are worried." "He's acting more like a doll by the minute!" Gavin whispered, his voice sounding much more panicked than Jackson was used to.

"There's only a few weeks until Halloween, and we've yet to collect any ingredients." Amelia reminded him. "It kinda sounds like we might not even have until Halloween to save him." Maxwell said. "He might turn before then." "It's been a pretty rough couple of weeks." Stacy agreed. "What are you even speaking about?" Mason asked. "Thy better not be spreading rumors!"

"We don't even use the word 'thy' anymore." Sally pointed out. "What are you talking about?" "I don't think he knows that." Rachel told her. "It's very possible that his brain is starting to think like that of a doll, which isn't a good sign."

"Honestly, the DollMaker is such a waste of time!" Beth complained. "Things would be so much easier if he would just get a grip on himself and stopped turning innocent people into dolls for a collection that will never be completed! It's such a waste of time for everyone involved, including the DollMaker himself!" "NO!" Max yelled. "Unlike everybody else, he actually has a brain and is using it accordingly!" "Beth, I think you made him mad." Alexander pointed out, inwardly feeling scared without his twin. "He doesn't sound super delighted."

"This whole 'DollMaker' thing is getting a little annoying." Lisa commented. "I agree with that." Sally agreed. "The DollMaker is getting a little annoying at this point."

"We have got to find a way to stop the DollMaker and fast." Gavin announced. "I don't know how much longer I can take of him controlling people." "We all want the DollMaker gone Gavin." Jackson agreed. "But first we need to figure out how to keep Mason from being a new addition to his collection. That is something nobody wants. We can figure out what to do with the DollMaker afterwards."

"And ow do you suppose we do that, exactly?" Gavin asked. "Wait..." Mason said, "what does thy mean by 'defeat thy master?'" "He's not our master, but whatever you say Mason." Maxwell commented. "Once again, he probably doesn't know that the DollMaker's not the master of everybody."

"The DollMaker always wins, you insufficient fools!" Mason yelled. "This is gonna be a long road to victory, isn't it?" Phil asked, his tone exhausted. "Yes, I think it will." Jackson replied, sounding equally tired, even if he was more annoyed than tired despite the fact that he hadn't been getting a ton of sleep if you combined what he delt with at home and the DollMaker. Max groaned, half in annoyance, half in grogginess and confusion. "Then we'd better get to it." He said. "We have got to find those ingredients, and fast!"
