Allah (الله): The One God that Muslims believe in.

Ayah (آية): Verse of the Quran.

Ayaat (آيات): Verses of the Quran.

Barakah (بركة): Blessing and

Barakat (بركات): Blessings.

Da'wah (دعوة): Invitation.

Dunya (دنيا): This world.

Eman/Iman (إِيمَان): Faith, Belief.

Hadith (حديث): A narration from the actions of the prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)

Halal (حلال): Lawful, permissible.

Haram (حرام): Unlawful, forbidden, prohibited.

Hidayah (هداية): Guidance.

Islam (إسلام): Peace, Submission.

Jahiliyyah (جَاهِلِيَّة‎): Ignorance.

Jannah (جنّة): Paradise.

Jahannam (جهنّم): Hellfire.

Quran (القرآن ): The final message sent from Allah - the Holy book of the Muslims.

Rabb (ربّ): Lord, Nurturer, Creator, Owner, Provider, and Sustainer.

Surah (سورة): A chapter of the Quran.

Sunnah (سنة): The way of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).

Phrases:

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu (السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته): Peace and the Mercy and Blessings of Allah be upon you.

Jazakumullahu Khairan Katheeran (جزاكم الله خيراً كثيراً): May Allah reward you in abundance.

Barak Allahu Feekum (براك الله فيكم): May Allah bless you.

In Sha Allah (إن شاء الله): If Allah wills.

Alhamdulillah (الحمد لله): Praise be to Allah.

Subhan Allah (سبحان الله): Glory be to Allah.

Allahu Akbar (الله أكبر): God is the Greatest.
