Just as Jake had ordered, Lee put both hands onto Amon's back and channeled as much chi into him as possible. Dustin did the same thing, but instead of channeling his chi to Amon, his went to Jake. The extra chi that went to Amon helped him keep his dragon in the physical realm, while Jake began to channel his lightning attribute energy into his fist. "Are you sure that technique is a good idea"? Dustin asked Jake with a worried look on his face. "Yeah, it's our only chance to tilt the odds in our favor," Jake replied.

"Amon's soul beast only gave up an equal chance to survive, and this technique will give us just enough of an advantage so we can put an end to this Titan," Jake continued. "I think Jake's right guys." "When it comes to the elements, lightning-attribute energy would be stronger against earth-attribute energy," Amon said out loud. "On top of that my dragon will increase his techniques power by increasing our attack speed," Amon added. The dragon continued to fight against the titan.

The dragon was soaring in the sky and diving to attack the titan. At the same time, the titan kept trying to swat the dragon out of the air like it was a mere fly. "Master!" The dragon roared telepathically. "I can use my flaming breath blast, but it'll take more of your energy," the dragon suggested. "The attack will give us the cover we need to hold the Titan still," the dragon continued. "That's a good plan," Amon responded telepathically.

"Let's do it!" he yelled. The dragon flew up high into the sky as fire-attribute energy began to condense inside its jaws. The dragon circled in the sky and dived back down, and this time it opened its mouth and shot out a huge ball of fire that seemed like it could scorch the earth below. The titan braced itself for the fireball by covering its head with its arms in an attempt to block the blast. The fireball exploded the moment it came in contact with the titan and the impact pushed the Titan back.

The damage done was clear, with parts of the Titan being burned and other parts crumbling. Without giving the Titan a chance to recover, Amons' dragon wrapped its whole body around the titan's arms and legs, restraining it. Little did the titan know, Jake had leaped high into the sky right before the dragon had restrained it. Dustin and Lee both transferred the majority of the chi they had left to Amon so that he could keep the Titan restrained long enough for Jake to deal the final blow. A huge blue light could be seen racing down from out the sky.

"What is that?" The Titan's voice boomed loudly as fear filled its eyes. It was Jake, and it looked as though he held the power of a thunderstorm within his hand. "Lightning Shiver!" Jake roared as he stretched out his arm, with his most powerful lightning jab. The punch went through the head of the Titan, through its entire body, completely obliterating it. From far away, it looked as though the Titan was hit by a mighty lightning strike.

Thankfully, at the last moment, Amon's dragon let go of the titan and went a short distance away with hopes of getting Amon and his squad out of immediate danger. The dragon also wrapped its body around the three warriors to protect them from the aftermath of the attack. After the lightning explosion, dirt and debris flew in all directions. "I'll take my leave, master," the dragon told Amon. "Thank you so much," Amon said, rubbing the dragon on the head.

The dragon disappeared, and all three squad members were on their hands and knees, panting heavily with sweat running down their faces. Amon managed to stand back up and ran over to Jake. Jake was on one knee leaning on one of his arms, panting heavily. "I can't believe we won!" Jake said, grinning happily. "We even got an ascendant crystal," Amon said as he went to retrieve the precious item.

Dustin and Lee walked over to join Amon and Jake. "Here Jake," Amon said holding out his hand with the precious item in it. "I can't take that, you literally played the biggest role in obtaining it," Jake said, modestly. "We all can agree to that," Jake continued. Dustin and Lee nodded their heads, agreeing with Jake. "You definitely earned that dude," Dustin said smiling.

"Jake you are the closest to breaking through to the ascended realm, plus we have to get out of here eventually," Amon said with a smile. "You are our leader, so it makes sense for you to take the first ascendant crystal," Amon continued as he forced the crystal into Jake's hands. "I'm truly grateful Amon, and I will not let you all down," Jake said with determination evident in his eyes. "Let's get out of here and head back to where we started, so we can regain our strength," Jake ordered. "What about Ethan?" Amon asked.

"I don't think he will be much of problem," Jake responded. "I believe that beam of light we seen was him burning his life energy to summon a titan or maybe even him using his life energy to shine like a beacon, letting other titans know our location," Jake speculated. "I came to this conclusion because I seen his condition greatly worsened after the light appeared," Jake continued. "Oh, alright then," Amon said as he began following Jake. The four squad members spent about a week, traveling back to where they had first started on the island.

"Ok so check me out guys," Jake said as he sat on the ground. Amon, Dustin, and Lee all sat on the ground with him forming a sort of circle. "I'm going to let you three regain your strength," Jake said. "When you are all done I'll go ahead and use the crystal to breakthrough," Jake continued. "After my breakthrough, we will hunt more level one titans and obtain more crystals so you three can breakthrough as well," Jake informed his squad.

"Amon in your case, you can just continue cultivating and you can save your crystals for when you're ready to use them," Jake said. "Ok great," Amon said. "Let's begin," he said as he sat down and began circulating his energy throughout his body. Jake sat and guarded all three of his squad members while they healed themselves. "I will breakthrough and lead my team back to the surface," Jake said as he looked at the ascendant crystal in his hand.

Amon managed to heal all his injuries in about a week, but he sensed the other two weren't done so he just focused on his cultivation. Each time Amon broke through to a new rank of power within the spirit realm, he had Jake staring at him in amazement. "In a month, he broke through to the peak of rank six within the spirit realm," Jake said astonished with Amon's progress. Finally, Lee and Dustin finished healing themselves and opened their eyes. Amon opened his eyes as well feeling impressed with his cultivation progress being at rank six within the spirit realm, which meant he needed to reach three more ranks of power until he was ready to breakthrough to a whole new realm of power.

"Alright Jake, your up next," Dustin said. "Make us proud," Lee said with a grin. "You got this," Amon said fist bumping Jake. "Alright everyone, see you all soon!" Jake said before he sat down and entered a deep state of meditation. "First I have to raise my spirit energy to it's fullest," Jake said as he began to circulate all his energy.
