"I want to fight him alone," Nico said boldly. "I'd look like a fool to team up against someone with a measly cultivation level." "Don't do me any favors," Amon said mockingly. "Fine, I'll spectate your match," Mark said as he gave Nico and Amon some space. Daisy was still injured, so all she could do was watch Amon and Nico battle. "Let's get started chump," Nico roared with a smile on his face as he dashed towards Amon.
"About time," Amon said sarcastically as he sped towards Nico. The two warriors clashed once more. Both warriors exchanged dozens of punches and kicks, but once again they appeared evenly matched. "How is this possible?" Nico wondered to himself, panting heavily. "There's no way someone, who is four levels below me, should be capable of fighting on par with me," Nico thought angrily. Nico focused his energy on the palm of his hand and shot a blast at Amon.
"This isn't just a normal energy blast, it's infused with an element," Amon thought to himself. Amon activated his whispering wind technique and dodged to the side. Nico immediately reacted to Amon dodging and began to shoot a barrage of element-infused blasts at him. The energy blasts were powerful, and a blue aura could be seen coming from the blast. Once again, Amon dodged all the incoming blasts. "I see you are great at running," Nico mocked. Nico's aura surged, and water began to wrap around his body as the ground began to tremble around him.
"He's preparing a huge attack, one that can't be dodged," Amon thought to himself. Despite the situation, Amon still kept such a calm demeanor. Amon's aura surged and lightning could be seen wrapping around his body. Both warriors shot a blast at one another. Normally, a warrior with a higher cultivation would naturally have the advantage, but in this case both blasts met in the center of the arena.
A loud explosion was heard as dirt and debris flew in all directions. The force of the aftershock was so powerful that Mark and Daisy had to shield themselves the best they could. "But how?" Nico roared. "This shouldn't be possible!" He yelled. "What cheap tricks are you using?" He asked Amon angrily. "This young man can go toe to toe with warriors four levels above him," The king said in amazement.
"I'm sure the captains in my army are viewing this battle closely," the king said, looking up into the sky with a grin on his face. "Twin dragon collision!" Nico roared as two huge dragons made of water formed behind him. The dragons raced toward Amon with great speed. One dragon quickly charged at him head on, forcing him to jump high into the sky. The second dragon immediately flew upwards in an attempt to capitalize off of Amon's defenseless position. At that moment, Lightning began to focus around Amon's left hand.
Looking at the dragon inching closer and closer with a grin on his face. "Lightning shiver!" Amon roared as he used the lightning in his hand and shot towards the ground to completely obliterate the dragon that approached him. The second dragon followed in the footsteps of the first and was quickly destroyed. As Amon landed on the ground, tons of water fell to the ground as though a rainstorm had begun in the middle of their battle. "Aqua Jet!" Nico yelled as a ball of water formed in front of him, and it condensed before shooting out a powerful blast of water.
The water blast raced towards Amon at great speed. In a split second, Amon materialized his Raiso spear. The moment it appeared, Amon threw it directly at the blast of water that was closing in fast on him. The lightning spear quickly pierced the water until it reached Nico. "What the?" Nico said quickly as he realized at the last moment that a spear was about to pierce his body. Nico tried his best to dodge, but the spear still managed to graze his side, forcing him onto one knee.
"That's enough!" The king declared after standing to his feet, hoping to stop the battle. Everyone in the crowd didn't know what exactly was going on anymore, because Amon and Nico were in a league of their own in terms of speed. "What?" "Why did he stop the match?" Nico said curiously as he glanced ahead and didn't see Amon in front of him. "Where did he?" Nico managed to say before he realized the crackling sound he heard behind him. Nico, on one knee, remained frozen with fear as he only managed to turn his head.
To his surprise, he saw Amon, with the four fingers on his left hand together, pointing at the back of his neck. The crackling sound that could be heard throughout the arena was the sound of the lightning that coated his entire left hand up to his forearm. "How is this even possible?" Nico muttered under his breath as he realized his forehead was covered with sweat. As he looked into Amon's right hand, he saw the same spear that had grazed his side a moment before the match was called. "If this match hadn't been called, he could've killed me without even realizing it," Nico thought as his body began to fill with a mix of anger and hatred.
"Who is this guy?" Daisy thought as she glanced at Amon and Nico. Even Mark began to feel fear in his heart as he looked at Amon. "If he was able to defeat Nico with such ease, I'm sure he would have demolished me with a wave of his hand," Mark thought, as his body began to tremble immensely. "Thank you all for demonstrating your power for us all today," the king said proudly. The crowd cheered and shouted at the strength displayed by the four youths.
"You four will be chosen by one of the four royal squads," the king said proudly. "What about us my lord?" Austin asked enviously. "Don't worry, you four will begin your training in the royal reserves," the king responded. "The four of you may come and choose your newest members," the king said respectfully. Four figures appeared behind him in the blink of an eye.
