"Aim what the hell is wrong with you?!" Lee asked stopping to get him up.
"Captain l-l-look!" He screamed pointing back to the small fire. Lee looked his best but didn't see anything out of the ordinary apart from the bolt's damage and the fire it left.
"Aim, don't make me regret noticing your abilities." Geddon stood still and had his eyes closed the whole time, using the technique Aim had showed him earlier today. He visualized all three of them standing, heavy raindrops that made it harder to hear, the fire crackling with branches and trees creaking, and animals that were running away. But when he scanned his eyes and ears to the other direction, he heard something sinister.
It was malicious sounding growls.
He opened his eyes. "Lee! There is something out there." He frantically said. Lee turned to him "not you too Geddon." He pleaded.
"You seen it right Geddon! By the fire?!"
"No, I used what you taught me earlier and I heard it in that direction." Geddon pointed to the left side where the fire was.
"Alright you two get behind me." Lee commanded. Aim shot up and ran behind Lee. He closed his eyes and did his best to pinpoint what he'd seen.
"Aim lost his cool, is he getting more afraid?" Geddon thought to himself standing behind Aim. Lee moved closer to the woods and picked up a rock. He threw it in the woods with enormous strength, causing the sound of it hitting something.
"We know you're there so come out!" Lee yelled in the direction he threw it.
There was nothing, no indication that anything was there apart from Geddon and Aim's statements. Lee turned around with a rather worrying look.
"If this mission is messing up with you two psyches go back home, I'll get to Foresun." Lee finally said shocking the two.
"Captain seriously there's something there!" Aim replied almost bursting into tears. Geddon nodded and Lee stood there with his eyes fixated on him, sort of like he was examining if he was lying or not.
"Let's keep moving, Geddon take point and I'll handle the middle."
They moved in formation and continued on their path while Aim still kept an eye behind them.
Suddenly Geddon heard a drop of rain that was much more noticeable than what he's been hearing all night.
"Father." the mysterious voice echoed in Geddon's head.
"Show me your resolve".
Geddon stopped and looked around beginning to sweat a little.
"Did you find it Geddon?!" Aim asked quickly.
"No." Geddon replied, "but call it a hunch".
Lee got beside Geddon and told him that he could take point.
"It's fine Captain it's a good formation." Geddon replied. His fist were clenched and his eyes were looks of business.
Although it was raining there were visibly larger trees sprouting bright yellow and red leaves. The bushes and shrubs were much taller than in HellHelm. The crunching of the leaves mixed in with the rain was a sensational feeling and sound.
"Let's continue to move for now but Geddon don't stop using that thing just in case."
"...We should kill it before we're prey." Aim said behind them.
Lee and Geddon looked back at him.
"You want to what?!" Geddon yelled.
"I WANT TO HUNT IT I AM A HUNTER AFTER ALL!" Aim replied.
"Are you crazy there's something really off with whatever it is?!" Geddon asked.
Lee explained that whatever they might've heard or saw could be a Fiend but Lee would've felt it as he could the others if that was the case.
"Let's keep going for now, it could've been a shadow of someone".
"I don't know cousin I didn't seem human." Geddon said.
"Damn Royals." Aim thought "I will kill that monster".
