HULLO!! Welcome to my original story, lay it on me. I thought I was really creative with that title. ANYWAYSSSSssss, idk what to say...
So I guess I'd been watching a lot of rom-coms and shiz so that's what inspired me to write this story. Specifically Confessions of a Shopaholic, ig. I was just like 'haha what if female lead character was addicted to something else instead of shopping?' and then this story just kind of happened. idk i just wanted to be unconventional. Hopefully it kinda reads like a mildly cringe rom-com! that's what i'm aiming for anyway :p
I will also say, this story is probably wildly inaccurate. It takes place in LA, just Cali in general, but I don't live in California so idk anything about it lol. I also have no idea how magazine publishing companies work so this is really bullshit and all my little, dum dum imagination. Literally, the extent of my knowledge of magazine publishing is Confessions of a Shopaholic. PLZ PLZ PLZ be nice to me! I have never really posted a story online before! and i'm scared😢 Anways, I hope yall enjoy it and depending on the reception, I will probably post more chapters. SOOOO...

Scottie Santos is just a normal 25 year old woman. She's a college graduate working as a secretary to the editor-in-chief for a popular magazine. Yep, life is treating Scottie extremely well. There's just one thing: Scottie Santos is a virgin.
Okay, well, that's not the problem, really. She actually has a disgustingly obsessive porn addiction. It's something that constantly seems to be on her mind and even begins bleeding into her everyday life. So, Scottie decides that her only solution is going clubbing or hanging out with friends whenever she can to abstain from said addiction.
But, on the complete opposite end of the spectrum, she struggles from 'Pure O' Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (something she's self-diagnosed herself with.) As she puts it, her mind can imagine anyone and anything between her legs, anyone and anything. These intrusive thoughts seem to plague her no matter what the situation which leads her to compulsively research her condition or 'train' her brain into having healthy sexual thoughts by consuming porn.
