What feelings.

I opened my eyes slowly, wincing as a sharp pain shot through my chest. My body was wrapped in bandages, and I realized I was lying in a stunning room. The walls, tall and wide, were painted a soft cream, and a large window offered a breathtaking view of a snow-covered forest.

A knock at the door pulled me from my daze. I turned to see a girl standing there. With her blonde hair, blue eyes, and light skin, she looked to be in her early twenties. She approached me with a cup of tea and asked softly;

-"Are you feeling any better?"-

She took my hand, frowning slightly as she attempted a reassuring smile.

-"Yes... thank you very much,"-

I replied, smiling and bowing my head in gratitude.

She stood up and began to walk back toward the door, then paused and turned.

-"If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask."-

As she started to leave, I called out;

-"Wait! What's your name?"-

She turned with a friendly tone,

-"I'm Olga. Nice to meet you...?"-

-"...Taek-joo,"-

I said.

She smiled warmly and hurried out of the room. I layed back on my bed with a deep sigh, my mind racing. Where was I? What had happened to that cyclist? Was it Zhenya? I was lost in thought as I stared out the window to my right.

I quickly noticed that there was no sign of human civilization. The silence was unsettling, and my body still ached from my injuries. My hand, though bruised, was carefully bandaged. What had transpired yesterday? My heart pounded as I could only think about the cyclist. The reason for this fixation eluded me. I reached for the tea Olga had left and drank it slowly, trying to make sense of things.

Who was this girl? She seemed Russian, but something about her appearance felt familiar, like she resembled someone I knew but couldn't place. Eventually, I gave up and decided to rest. My body had been feeling weak and vulnerable, which had left me unable to protect myself from Zhenya. I frowned, imagining what I would have done to that monster if I had been at full strength. I swore I would have torn him to shreds.

My reverie was abruptly interrupted by a loud bang from the room below. A panicked scream and a chaotic commotion filled the air. What was going on? I tried to stand, but my body wouldn't obey. Frustrated, I groaned as I heard footsteps racing through the mansion. How vast was this place? The sound of soft weeping reached me, heightening my concern. Was Olga okay? I had to act quickly.

I stumbled onto my knees, pushing myself off the bed and dragging myself across the warm carpet. I attempted to open the door but couldn't reach the doorknob from the floor, and I had no strength left. Just then, the door creaked open. It was Olga, looking puzzled at my predicament.

-"What are you doing down there, Taek-joo?"-

I looked up, confused. She seemed completely fine, so who was causing all that noise?

-"I heard loud noises and thought you might be in danger."-

Olga's puzzled expression shifted to laughter. She wiped a tear of amusement from her cheek and said with a shy tone;

-"Are you worried about me? Don't worry, I'm perfectly fine. The noise was just my brother causing a ruckus. I'll make sure he keeps it down."-

I sighed in relief.

-"I'm glad it wasn't you. Don't worry about the noise; it doesn't bother me. There's no need to make more of a fuss."-

-"Alright, then,"-

Olga said with a teasing tone as she offered me her hand;

-"Let me help you up."-

I grasped her hand, and she guided me back to the bed. I sat on the edge, waiting for Olga to leave before muttering;

-"Thank you for everything, Olga. I'm not sure where you found such a big and warm heart, but we need more kind and beautiful people like you in this world."-

Olga turned, blushing slightly, and looked at me with her light blue eyes, grinning warmly.

"Thank you, Taek-joo. The world could use more polite gentlemen like you."

She smiled once more and left the room. My cheeks flushed as I thought about Olga. What was this feeling? Had I developed feelings for her? I questioned my emotions for a few minutes but ultimately decided that I couldn't afford to be distracted from my mission in Russia. Once I completed my investigation and found "Anastasia's" blueprints, I would be on my way. There was no time for love—my departure was imminent.
