Savannah's First Christmas

Savannah's POV

Today We are going to New York. For Christmas. I'm so excited. It's my first Christmas. And my first holiday with My family. I am meeting the rest of my family both sides live in NYC. I'm so estatic! 

Right now, I'm Getting dressed to go to the airport. I packed my suitcase yesterday before the party. Knock Knock Knock. 'Come in' I said. Mom walked in. 'Hey, Sweet Girl! Are you almost ready?' She asked. 'mhmm! I have to pack my bag for the jet!' I said. 'Okay, Honey! Would you like any help?' She asked. 'Sure!' I said. 'Okay, So...what are we packing in the bag?' She asked. 'My Computer...book...Notebook, Pencils, Coloring book...blanket, Bear.' I said listing things off. She went around the room and grabbed the book, coloring book, and my bag. I grabbed my Laptop, pencils, pens, and coloring pencils, and markers. I handed her the stuff and she put it in the bag. She zipped it up and gave it to me. 'I filled your Cup up with ice and water!' She said. 'Really! Thank you, Momma!' I said. 'Of course!' She said. We walked down the stairs and Rosie, Dad, and Cosmo were waiting. Rosie and Dad were watching TV. Cosmo was waiting by the door bored. 'Ugh. Took you long enough!' Cosmo said rolling his eyes. 'Cosmo' Dad warned. 'She didn't take that long!' Rosie said. 'All she had to do was pack her bag, cos. Please Relax!' Momma said. 'Sorry, cos' I mumbled. 'C'mon, Everyone to the Car!' Dad said. I went to the car, Sitting in my usual spot. 

Fourth five minutes later, we were pulling into the airport parking lot. It was LAX, very crowded. I could see a bunch of the paps, They were sitting/standing around. They looked like they were waiting for someone famous to come. Dear Lord. We all put Sunglasses on. We got out, Two Guys with suits on. 'Savannah, this is Phillip and Andrew! He's a part of the Security team At the Airport! Andrew is going to get all our stuff onto the jet, Whole we get through everything!' Mom said. 'Okay,' I said. Andrew had a cart and he put our Suitcases. All we had was our carry-on, now. The paps were pretty bad. It was crowded and they were all bombarding us with questions. We walked past them and soon enough got on the jet.

We were lifting off the runway. There were quite some rows of two, as well as a couch. I was sitting next to mom. Dad was alone in one of the rows, he was doing his work. Writing in a journal, one of his scripts. once we got up in the air, he pulled his laptop out and began typing. Rose was sitting in one of the rows and cosmo was too. I fell asleep soon after we were up in the air.

Scarlett's POV

I was sitting next to Savannah. I was reading a book, nicholas spark. My sister suggested me it. told me to read it, so i did. We were going to talk about over brunch tomorrow. Savannah was asleep on my lap. I'm super excited for Christmas this year, It's Savannah's first Christmas with us. It's also her first real christmas, i wanted to spoil her. Christmas is a special day. Every kid deserves to have the memories of waking up Christmas morning and ripping off the wrapping paper of all the presidents.

We were about to begin to descend. "Ms. Johansson. we are about to descend. The pilot would like you all to put your seatbelts on now!" the flight attendant said. "okay. Thank you!' I said. Everyone put their seatbelts on, except for Savannah who was asleep. I gently rubbed her arm. 'sweetheart? It's time to put your seatbelt on, again. we are about to descend!' I said softly. 'mhm' she said sitting up. She began to put her seatbelt back on, buckling it up.

Savannah's pov

we were at the NYC house. We were all unpacking. Momma says we are decorating a tree tomorrow night. She says it's going to look like Robert's tree. His tree was a big green tree in his living room, with round glass ornaments. With presents underneath it. I finished packing and was putting my bag in my closet when I heard a knock on my door. 'come in!' I said. It was Dad 'Hey Dad!' I said. 'hey baby, dinner's ready, are you hungry?' he asked. 'yup!' I said. 'great, come on down!' he said. I followed him down and we sat in the dining room. It was chicken, corn, and mashed potatoes. 'this looks good, thank you, momma, thank you Daddy' I said cutting up my chicken. 'anytime, baby girl' Dad said. 'of course, sweet girl' Mom said.

After dinner, I offered to load and unload for Mom, but she declined, per usual. It seems like a tradition, I always ask and she always says that I am the kid and she's the parent, and it's the parent's job to do those things, and it's my job to be the kid. I was sitting on the counter as she was doing the dishes. 'why don't you go ahead and go take a shower and afterward I can braid your hair? How does that sound? then we can watch a movie!' Mom asked. "okay!' I said jumping off the counter. I ran up the stairs and went to my room. I pulled out some pajamas to wear after my shower. I went to my bathroom, which was connected to my bedroom, i put my pajamas on the sink counter and turned the water on. I hopped in and began wetting my hair, putting soap in it. After my shower I got dressed into my pajamas and went to Momma's room. 'come to sit down, baby' she said softly patting a spot in front of her. She was sitting on the bed. I handed her the brush and she began brushing my hair. She was a very soft brusher, she didn't yank at all. 'let me know if I'm hurting you' she normally said even though she's never hurt me. Once she was done brushing, she began putting my hair into two braids. 'Here you go, baby' she said handing me the brush. 'thank you, Mommy' I said, 'it's no problem, love' she said. 'why don't you put that in your room, and bring down your blanket, and we can start to look for a christmas to watch, tonight. I was thinking we could watch a Hallmark movie! Have you seen one before? A Hallmark movie?' she asked. 'Hmm, I've starred in a couple! and seen a couple as well!' I said. 

After I put my brush back and grabbed my blanket, I went downstairs. I sat in between Momma and Daddy, Rose on the other side of Mom, and Cosmo on the other side of Dad. Mom had the movie 'The Princess Switch'. We watched the movie, it was really good, after that we watched the second Princess Switch, but I fell asleep a little after it started. 

3rd POV

The Johansson-Jost-Williams Family was sitting on the big couch. They sat Rose next to Scarlett, Savannah sat in between Scarlett and Colin, and Cosmo sat on the other side of Colin. Cosmo hated the movie nights, he would much rather hang with friends or play video games, not spend more than an hour with his family watching a movie he thought was kiddish, girly, or stupid. Scarlett told him very strictly to behave this school break. Scarlett wanted the whole vacation to be perfect for Savannah. Savannah had a pretty rough childhood so far and Scarlett wanted to make sure that Savannah had some of the same experiences and chances that her kids had growing up. All though Cosmo didn't say anything, he hated the movie, his arms were folded and his face was scrunched up, he was on his phone. After the first movie, he went upstairs. Rose loved the movies and spending time with her family, even the new addition to the family. The last few months had flown by and Rose saw Savannah as a sister, like she had spent her whole life as her sister. She was protective of Savannah already. She was the only kid who knew what Savannah's big meaningful gift was. She was ecstatic, she literally couldn't wait! Shortly after the second movie started Savannah fell asleep. Rose went up to her bed as the movie ended. 'Do you want me to take her up to her room?' Colin asked. 'if you'll take her I'll go with you' Scarlett said folding up the blanket. Colin picked up Savannah and brought the sleeping kid up to her room. Scarlett tucked her in and kissed her on the forehead. She laid her folded-up blanket against her desk chair and closed the door.

A/N Hey everyone I know this is a pretty short chapter, especially since I haven't updated in like 2-3 weeks, sorry about that, I've been pretty busy with balancing school and work and everything, and have been kind of procrastinating writing since I'm not really in the mood for Christmas yet, but I'll try and update as soon as I can. Possibly next week or so. I hope you liked this story so far, and this chapter, and if there are any requests on anything you want to see, please lmk. I would love some request on what should happen and what you guys want to happen to/with Savannah and the Johansson-Jost-Williams family, as well as any other characters! also just got my computer fixed after like ten months so yay.
