Welcome or welcome back!🤗

I'm Jasmyn Tailor 🩵

The Lord is so gracious and kind to give me another story after His heart.

Gabriel started in a dream that I had just yesterday morning. I spent the whole day putting the imagery and such together, and now, today, the story is ready(enough) to be introduced!

Again I say, the Lord was so gracious and kind to bless me. When I'm writing, I'm glad. I see it as another way of abiding in the Lord because truly, without Him, I can do nothing. (John 15:4)

This story follows a baseball player, Gabriel Nichea, and a journalist, Jaleesa Destiny.

As you'll see in the imagery, Jaleesa is a faceless character. I couldn't find a face that fit what I saw in my dream, so I put some features together and it worked!

I've always wanted to write a story about a baseball player. I'll tell on myself by saying that I've had crushes on baseball players for years. I don't know why, I just think they're attractive.

I also wanted to be a journalist when I was younger, so this story is covering all the bases🤭🤪

This story is a little different than my other stories. I can't give away much, I don't know much, but I will say that someone is a little judgmental.

If you read the book description, you know who.

There's nothing wrong with preferences or standards, but-no. You'll just have to wait and see.

Though I don't know much about the story or the characters, the Lord did give me information about Gabriel. I like Gabriel already. He's a good man. I have a crush on him now. Maybe you will too.

We like real men in this book. Authenticity is what makes a man real.

This is the fourth book in the Song of Solomon Collection. A collection that I thought was over, but God has the final say always. I'm excited to be bringing it back!

The scriptures for this book are Song of Solomon 2:10-13,

"My beloved speaks and says to me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For, behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing [of birds] has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth and ripens her green figs, and the vines are in blossom and give forth their fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away."

I chose these verses because they're intentional. The words of the bridegroom are strong. He's calling for his love because it's time. Time for their love to be enjoyed. Ugh. So so sweet.

In this story, it'll be time. Gabriel is a strong character. When it's time, he'll be sure. I'm already in love.

This will be a lovey gushy book once we get past the hurdles and stumbling blocks(Jaleesa...lol)

As always, it is a Christian, interracial, age-gap story.

I hope you'll join me as I venture into this new book.

That's all for now, you'll learn the rest as you go!
