I woke up with a rather searing headache that made me stay in bed about thirty minutes more before I finally mustered the courage to get up. I had slept with Hoseok in the guest bedroom and looking around, my friend was clearly already up. What time was it? I searched for my phone and left the room when I couldn't find it. Before going down, I went to check Taehyung's room and found Jungkook fast asleep but no Taehyung. I decided to let him sleep and made my way downstairs, I could hear my friends talking and making noise in the kitchen.
Taehyung was smiling from ear to ear, looking fresh as ever. "Oh good, you're up! Did you wake up Jungkook?"
I blinked going back and forth between my two friends, clearly, I wasn't awake yet.
"No, I just woke up" I said in a groggy voice.
"Could you go up?"
I looked at my friends without saying a word.
"I just got down" I ended up saying.
"I'll go"
I thanked Hoseok and sat down at the kitchen table, looking at the brunette cut up some vegetables. He told me about the omelet he was making, listing all the ingredients he was going to put in but I wasn't paying attention, not even a little bit.
"I'm so tired" I whined, letting my head fall on the hard surface.
"Well, you were the last to go to bed"
"What time was that?"
"Around four I think" Taehyung gave me a sympathetic smile, whisking the eggs in a big bowl. No wonder I was exhausted, it wasn't even ten am. "How was it with Yoongi?"
Flashes of me and him kissing flooded my brain, a shiver running through my body. If I closed my eyes I could still feel his hands around my neck and his lips softly biting mine. I remembered us talking for a bit, embraced in each other's arms, but what I couldn't remember was what happened after and how had I gotten to bed. It was all fuzzy.
My silence made Taehyung laugh. "I'm guessing it was good"
"We didn't talk about Namjoon's birthday party. I always get sidetracked when I'm with him..."
My friend opened his mouth to talk but got interrupted by Jungkook and Hoseok stumbling inside the kitchen.
"Hmm, smells nice" Jungkook went to kiss his boyfriend hello, sitting down next to me. We waited for breakfast to be ready, going over what had happened last night. We laughed at the videos and pictures we took, some of us begging for them to be deleted. The washing up was accompanied by music, gossiping and weird dance moves.
At first, I had been dying to talk to my friends about Yoongi and ask them about what I should do, but in the end, having fun with them in our pajamas until 2pm on a Sunday was way better and a lot less stressful than obsessing over a boy.
I eventually showered and got dressed, it was the first moment of the day where I could check my phone (that I ended up finding between two cushions, with no battery). I texted my mom about my plans for today and read a few texts from Yoongi. He had sent me a got home safe text at 4:44am this morning and then a good morning text as well as asking to meet me later today. I pondered for a few seconds, what did I want? I thought about seeing Yoongi today and then I thought about staying with my friends and only the latter option had me smiling. I typed in my response to Yoongi, asking for us to meet another day, that I couldn't make it today, and jumped in the shower.
Bored of being inside all day, we eventually decided to go to a local café where we always went. On the way over, Jungkook had shared a rather embarrassing story about what happened between him and Taehyung last night, too drunk to really control himself and his body.
