Chapter 5

"But you promised me, please don't scrap me off like this" beseeched Zo as we walked in the vicinity to our last class of the day.

"Because..." I stuttered

"Just please don't cover yourself with a right now made up excuse, if you don't wanna come just say so I won't ask you again I promise" said Zoey the faze in her blue-green eyes was definite and I couldn't torment her anymore.

"Okay, but on one condition" I enjoin her

She jumped up and down and agreed "okay go for it"

"I'll pick up the dress for myself and we'll come back on epoch. Agree?" I questioned

"Umm ya but I'll do your make up and hairdo" we shake hands like it was some professional deal.

"Oh no"

"Oh yes"

We entered our human anatomy classroom. I don't know why I took this subject as a minor but I think it speaks to me. Oh lord I'm thinking like a half witted person that's just magnificent. Our professor Tom Mason enters and started his chalk talk.

But my mind cognizance drifted over to Zoey when I saw her kissing the badass.

I cautiously stepped in front of the door of cafeteria and was trying not to tamper Zoey from Felix. But as I shoved the entryway "Elaine" Zoey squeaked and she freaked out like she was guilty for his misdemeanor. Whereas for Felix he avoided the whole situation wiped his lips, his lips looked real soft and perfectly curved... wait... he's Zo's boyfriend right? Whatever he promptly dispersed into the crowd.

I altered my attention towards Zoey who was beaming at me with what I think was annoyance. Looks like I intruded something which i  never meant to do.

"I'm sorry I didn't-"Zoey cut me off

"Let's go inside and have some food. I am famished" Zoey said with a smile but I think she was really agitated. I didn't wanna upset her so I got inside and walked in the direction of The Marketplace on Neil and ordered my favorite mouth watering turkey avocado club wrap with soy milk chocolate. Zoey on the other hand settled for 14" Hawaiian luau pizza. Boy she is either deranged or a great metabolism. Well good for her

As I twisted around I spotted Luciano and Blossom on a table. Blossom waved at us, and approached near them we rested our butts on chair.hehe

"Luciano Blossom this my friend Zoey Lewin." I said with a beaming expression

"Yes we have met yesterday at the party" said Blossom in a lousy way.

Zoey gave her a small nod and started digging on her pizza. Luciano also seem distressed. Okay seems like today is indeed an icky day.

Shortly Luciano and Blossom excused themselves I wasn't able to figure out the tension between these three but boy it was thick.

"Hey Elaine tomorrow Saturday night it's a party again in the frat house and you have to come you promised" said Zoey in an animated way. Wow the anxiety was heavy when Luke and Blossom were here

"No I can't I have some work" I said.

Zoey alarmed me from my perceiving and asked "are you even listening to Mr. hottie Mason?"

I nodded once and hearken our teacher. He was bequeathing us the information about the paperwork which we need to submit next week. That's just outstanding how much assignments we have on our second day of college. Well I guess this is what college lift is.

It was three in the evening when our class got over and Zoey had an appointment with the doctor within an hour so she had to leave. As in for me I headed to the library for some chemistry reference book and to loan some books on human anatomy.

The entire freshers were given the tour this morning to the library so I lead straight up to the chemistry chunk. I took out the supportive course book of chemistry and relaxed on the chair and kicked off with my work.

It was 5 in the evening and I needed just one book of organic chemistry which with I'll be off to bed. The whole library was deserted I assumed everyone was off to their dorms. I clamber up in one of the mobile stairs and started searching for the book. I found the book I was looking for 'a 1500 pages book' phew. Now how on earth I'm going to descend down from this height. I assure you all that I do have acrophobia.

I was keeping my each foot attentively when abruptly I shoot down and I yelped. I might have strained my ankle. Oh just fucking awesome, I tried to rise when out all the blue there were two muscular hands giving me the support from behind. Oh thank the lord for my savior

I turned to thank the man and saw none other than Zoey's boyfriend Felix.

"Thanks for your support" I said. I had to be generous

"Are you okay? Or broke your leg? Felix said. He has a beautiful voice.

"No, I think broke my ankle or something" I said in a gravelly voice

"Then let's get you a doctor" he suggested

"OK. I'll go"

As I tried to place my foot down to walk I winced. Felix in a one swift move raises me up in his arms. Whoa did I ask for it, but boy his arms are strong. I was close to his chest and I whiffed his cologne. It is the most astounding odor I have ever come across.

But quickly we reached to the medic. I didn't wanted this to end I agreed with my inner goddess. Ele shut up he's your friend's boyfriend. He put me down on the bed of the medical room. Dr. Nick Parsons the practitioner appeared I think the doctor is not here again.

"Oh hey Elaine good to see you again. Did you get bummed again on someone?" Said Dr. Parsons with a chuckle

I smile and bit my lip "Favorably no but I do think I injured my ankle"

"Ok. Let me take a look" said the doctor and started examining my foot.

As Dr. Parsons was studying me I glanced over to Felix he already had his eyes fixed at me. Why is he staring at me? Is something on my face? Do I look like a total dork?

"Ok so nothing is broken which is good news but we are going to wrap a crepe bandage around your ankle. You just need to rest tonight don't walk around too much and it'll be alright by tomorrow. I'm sure your boyfriend will take care of that" said the doctor abruptly.

"He's not my boyfriend" I blurted out. No way in hell that arrogant bastard can be my boyfriend and anyway he's Zoey's.

"Okay I'm sorry but I'm sure he'll assist you to your room" said the doctor

I struggled to stand but Felix very briskly wrapped his one hand around my waist and the other holding my right to support me. It was a silent walk to my dorm room and I winced almost three times but Felix kept his face stern. Cockhead

"Do you need anything else?" asked Felix after he plant me down on my bed.

"No thank you"

"Okay then I'm leaving"

"Is everything alright between you and Zoey" I asked, what the fuck it's their personal matter and I should not bug into it. Without a flash I added "I'm sorry I didn't mean to pry. You are in no restriction to answer it"

He left the room with some asperity and shut the door behind him with a strident. Oh boy I might have triggered a gun at me, and soon I'll be dead. But what the hell is going on with the people around my ring. Was I the reason for their caprice or I have been kept in a dark with something deleterious

I shuddered as my phone buzzed. Oh lord! It's my mother and another melodrama.

"Hello mother" I said but what I heard from other side of the line my eyes popped out and mind exploded.
