Tessa, Miguel and her father were currently at the dojo late in the night, cleaning and getting the dojo in order.
Tessa was mopping the floor meanwhile Miguel was wiping the windows, and Johnny was doing paperwork in his office.
"Hey Sensei, is there any particular way you want me to wash these windows?" Miguel spoke up causing Tessas head to turn and laugh to herself
"No, i don't give a shit. Whatever's easiest. Y'know what? Just go clean the toilet, and we'll call it a night."
"Okay..."
"And do that one on your hands and knees!"
Tessa laughed at her dad's poor attempt of a joke, sensing Miguel took it seriously and following the boy to the bathroom
"Hey Miguel-" Tessa was caught off guard by the position the boy was in, as johnny said, on his hands and knees scrubbing away.
"Miguel! You do know he was joking? Right?" Tessa questioned the boy while laughing at him not earning a smile back
"What? Thats not funny Tessa! I thought-"
The boy was cut off by the flash of Tessa's phone in his eyes
"Tessa! Delete that!"
"You wish. Im showing this to your future kids!" The girl mocked the boy as he got up from the position he realized he was still in
The twos antics were cut short when Tessa heard two voices arguing outside the bathroom, she curiously walked out seeing her father, and his rival Daniel Larusso.
"Wow. Johnny Lawrence calling someone else an asshole. Thats rich man!" Tessa walked near her dad hearing Daniel Larusso say
"Dad? Whats going on?"
Tessas comment was ignored as her father stepped in front of her and Daniels eyes locked onto her
"Whats that supposed to mean?"
"Uh, look... I'm not here to rehash the past. Just stay away from my daughter's friends." Daniel took his eyes away from the girl, calming his nerves knowing a child was present
Tessa scoffed at the comment he made, knowing his daughters "friends" deserved the beat down her father gave to them
"Your daughter's friends? Yeah, that makes sense. Nice company she keeps!" Johnny replied to the man
"Whats the hells that supposed to mean?" Tessa could see from a mile away, her fathers words made the man more worked up than he was before
"It means those friends of hers were wailing on a kid half their size and put their hands on my daughter! Maybe you don't know your daughter as well as you think you do.."
"Get your house in order Larusso."
Tessas eyes widened at her father's words.
"Who the hell you think you're talking to!" Daniel said as he walked forward towards Johnny
"Bathrooms clean!"
Tessa shook her head and turned around, couldn't he have stayed in there for just a few more minutes?
"Is there anything else you need me to do?" Miguel walked out of the bathroom asking
Tessa sent Miguel a look that said shut up, killing him with her wide eyes
Daniel's eyes squinted and darted towards the boy with a look of disbelief on his face that Tessa easily read
"Oh! Im sorry, Sensei. I-"
"Miguel shut up!" Tessa said to Miguel, yanking his arm near her to watch whatever this was unfold
""Sensei"? Really?" Daniel questioned
"Oh my god, kid. I don't know what he's told you, but you shouldn't believe a word he says, or you're gonna end up exactly like him."
Daniel took his eyes off of Miguel and looked towards Tessa
"And let's just hope, you are nothing like your father. If thats even possible."
"Hey! Don't speak to her Larusso!" Johnny shouted at Daniel, offended by the mans words.
"You and i? This... we aren't done."
"Im right here, man!" Johnny spoke after the man walked away some, spreading his arms
Daniel scoffed, and walked out the dojo, leaving the three in an awkward silence.
"Im sorry if i interrupted anything, Sensei. Should i do 20 push-ups on my knuckles?" Miguel spoke first
Tessa hit the boys arm earning a scoff of ow's and rolling her eyes as a response
"Right. Like you could." Johnny laughed at the boy
"Dad? Can we like, discuss what just happened?" Tessa announced
"I don't really know. but stay away from that man. And his spawn." Johnny muttered while turning around to face his daughter
"Couldn't catch me around that bitch anyways.."
