12: day ruined

NAORI SUKI's pov

I CLEARED MY THROAT, avoiding Ria that was munching on the sandwich. "What? Something wrong?" She asked me, which I shook her head.

I looked at the time before standing up. "I'll go now.. practice will start soon" I said, ignoring Jungwon who was calling me to come back.

It wasn't even 5, yet I'm here standing at the court where I'm supposed to be practicing in a little while. I sighed, sitting on the bleachers and putting my bag away.

Might as well warm up.

"Suki?" I turned around to see Jihyo, with Sunghoon, if I'm correct. I smiled before walking over to them. "Good to see you, I was just about to warm up".

"Alone?"

I wasn't supposed to be here this early.

"Yes, alone." I replied to her, stretching my arms while walking around the court. "Isn't your practice like, at 5? Why are you here at 4?".

Because Ria.

"Because I felt like it" I sent her a smile. She looked skeptical about my response, but still moved on because she knows that I'd tell her when I feel like it.

"What we're you two doing here though?" I asked her this time, looking at Sunghoona and then at her. She had a sheepish smile before responding, "a date-"

"A what?!"

"A date.." she locked arms with him and I'm just standing there in shock. "Yah! You're younger than me but found a boyfriend already?".

They both looked shyly at themselves. Soon enough, Jihyo nodded, and I just stared at them blankly.

"Since when did you pull boys?"

"Yah!"

Practices just had ended, and I was walking back home. And then I realised, I've kept my phone on silent mode this whole time.

So I took put my phone and opened it, just to see multiple messages from Jungwon. I unconsciously smiled and opened our chat.

Where are you? Where did you go?
