NAORI SUKI's pov
AS SOON AS we arrived, students scattered around, trying to get out of the bus as I stayed sat on my seat that was next to Jungwon's.
A few moments later, Jungwon got up from his seat, which allowed me to finally stand up too. "I'll be with my friends" he lastly said before leaving the bus.
I let out a small sigh before taking my luggage and following after him. As I stepped on the ground, I felt a natural breeze that hit my body.
Yes, we're staying out in wilds to make this field trip interesting. I don't mind though, I could use some fresh air. Anyways, I heard the teacher tell everyone to gather around, which I did.
"Boys will sleep in different tents with the girls. It's also located just a bit away from the girls so you guys can have your privacy and stuff" he announced.
"Around 9PM, we'll start some late night activities that we prepared" he said before splitting both boys and girls. I saw Jungwon talking to his friends and that's when it hit me.
Suki! Why are you making your crush for him obvious?! I scolded myself mentally before following the teacher who asked us to follow her.
Just a few minutes passed and we saw many tents and well decorated camping site. It looked cozy honestly. Without saying anything, I went to claim my tent, which I happened to be grouped with 2 other students.
They looked really pretty in my point of view. "I'm Ria! What's yours?" I heard one of the girls ask the other. "Ria is a cute name. I'm Haneul" just then, I saw the two of them look at me.
I just stared awkwardly at them before waving slightly. "What's yours?" Haneul asked me, which I reluctantly replied with, "Suki" it was short, but yea. What else am I suppose to say?
"You're Japanese?" Thie time Ria asked me, which I nodded to. "You're so pretty!" I heard them squeal which I chuckled at.
"Thank you, you guys look like born-to-be idols" I said, which made them squeal even more. "Really? Are you sure? 'Cause you sure can be a model" and just like that, we went on complimenting eachother.
I was surprised of myself. It takes me time to get comfortable with people, but these two just instantly gave me a spark to know about them more.
It's almost 9PM, and by the loud chattering not far from here, I knew that students were now gathering to get ready to play these activities.
Every year, the teachers make fun and enjoyable activities for our batch to play. And honestly love participating in these.
I got out of the tent just a few moments after tieing my hair up. I looked at the distance and saw where the crowd was. "Suki! Come on!" The two girls I met earlier yelled out before running over to the crowd.
I shook my head with a smile before running after them. Looks like the boys and girls are playing together. I thought as I looked at the students.
"Alright! May u have your attention" I heard the teacher call out, making the students hush. "We'll be doing a relay first before starting our activities".
"Do you guys remember your partners from the bus?" As soon as I heard that, I shot my head towards the boys, trying to find Jungwon.
Soon enough, I spotted him before turning back to the teacher. "After relay, we're going to do activities that you have to do with your partner, whether it is climbing, jumping or any other.
Your finger will be tied with your partner, so you can't go anywhere further from your partner" he finished as he looked sat the obstacles the teachers have prepared.
"Everyone understood?" I chorus of 'yes' can be heard from different sides. "If I estimated it now, you'll finish these activities around 11PM, which is when..?"
"Lights off" I heard again. This will be girls vs girls and boys vs boys relay" he said before going over to a slightly open area.
The boys have split in half before going on different sides, same with the girls. There were two lines in each side, making it more competitive.
As soon as the whistle blew, from my point of view, I saw the girls run off to the other side. And it just continued on.
As soon as the person infront of me ran off, I got ready to do the same. From the other side, I saw Ria run off and closing off our distance.
By the time Ria arrived, I sprinted as fast as I can to the other side. Almost tripping when I met a rock, but still ended up bringing our side victory.
"The girls have finished!" I heard one of the students that were in line yell out to the teacher. "Alright, get ready with your partners" he said, handing each girl a string.
Those who got the strings, went off finding their partner, which includes me. Once locking eyes with him, i gave a slight smile before walking over to him.
My heart beating faster by each step I took.
