SURELY ENOUGH, SUKI'S MIND went completely blank, as if someone snatched all her thoughts away. Her heartbeat quickened its pace, her ears becoming a pink-ish, red-ish blushing mess. Obviously, she was flustered and it made Jungwon chuckle.
"Surprised? Don't be. I know you liked me too" he casually responded while walking. The duo didn't even realise Ria, who was hearing everything right next to her, fuming in anger. Just you wait Suki, Just you wait. Ria thought, her legs walking faster to get her in front of them.
"You can't just say that so casually!" Suki whined, covering her face, her face flushed now. "Why can't I?" She snapped her head towards him. "Because it gives me weird feelings.. Good ones though— but it's really annoying!" She pouted a bit, making Jungwon smile at her.
"Oh yeah? Even if I give you the slightest touch?" Asked Jungwon. "Even when you give me the slightest touch" his smile widen when she confirmed how she felt. No wonder why she's always shivering when I hold her hand. Cute.
"Well, Suki. Since I know how you feel about me, and now you know how I feel about you, do you really really, REALLY want to be my girlfriend? Because I know the fact that I do. You might not realise it but, you amuse me, a lot." She felt his hand locking with hers.
"You're the one who painted colours in my painting. You're the one who made my world shine." He chuckled at his own words. "Gosh that sounded cringe.. but it doesn't matter if it's for you" Suki, who had been quietly listening, had the happiest look she had ever had.
His confession towards her, brought happiness. Happiness that she had truly wanted to carry on her shoulders. Her worries, the anxiety of him not liking her back, went away like a flash. "You already know my answer" she finally spoke up, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Yes?"
"No."
"No?!"
"I'm just joking! Of course I do!" Suki giggled, finding his relieved face funny. "You scare me sometimes" she sticked her tongue out, while Jungwon only shook his head with a smile. That's my girl. Sillier than she looks. The duo continued walking behind the group, who were oblivious about the new couple that are behind them now.
"Ah yeah, I've been having these weird flashbacks, but I don't remember going to them at all!" She revealed. "You've been having those too?" Jungwon asked, his expression brought her familiarity, but there was something else she couldn't really put her finger on.
