"You know you should stop smoking, don't you, Unnie?"

Yena only laughed, sending a puff of smoke skyward. Her eyes flickered over to me, giving me a side-eye. Joking, I knew, but still a side-eye.

"Says the one who just finished her first cigarette and is lighting up her second," she smirked. "Hypocrite."
"I only smoke when I'm stressed, and right now, I'm fucking stressed," I sighed, drawing deeply from my cigarette. "You, on the other hand..."
"Yeah, yeah..." she waved her hand dismissively, though a chuckle escaped her. "Still, you've gotta thank your Unnie for giving you her cigarette, Kim Chaewon."

I couldn't help but chuckle. What was it about Yena that always managed to make me smile? To be honest, the other Fimmies made me smile too, each in their own way. Sakura gave me wise advice, Yunjin encouraged me to be bold, Kazuha offered comfort and a listening ear, and Eunchae... Well, Eunchae didn't need to do anything to make me smile. Just seeing her round face calmed my heart.

And then there was Choi Yena. Brash, rarely serious, often downright crazy and chaotic, her advice more often than not weird and confusing. But it was her unpredictability that I needed in moments like this. I exhaled a plume of smoke and smiled at my housemate.

"Kamsahamnida, Yena-unnie," I said, smirking. Yena nodded smugly.
"You're welcome, Chaechae," she grinned. "You know I'll always be here for you. I might not be as wise as Kkura-unnie or as sane as Kazuha, but... You know I care."
"Yeah. And somehow, you always have just what I need at the moment," I snickered. Yena nodded in agreement.
"Mm! Absolutely! Whatever you need! Cigs, booze..." she began listing off.

I could already anticipate what she was about to say next, so I gave her a pointed glare.

"Don't..." I warned her. Of course, it was futile.
"... Ducky juice," she finished, a mischievous grin spreading across her face.
"YA!!!" I snapped, exasperated. "ENOUGH WITH THE DUCKY JUICE THING!"
"Meh, who knows," Yena shrugged nonchalantly, "It might be just what you need to take your mind off things, with all its health benefits and all that..."
"HEALTH BENEFITS MY ASS!" I roared, frustration boiling over. "Oh my God, Unnie! Seriously! Just buy that bar in Hongdae and start selling your Ducky juice if it means stopping you from promoting it to me every single day!"
"You know what?" Yena's tone shifted to a startling seriousness. "I'm actually in talks with Tsuki-san and Rachel about selling it as an electrolyte-rich isotonic drink in Seven Rings and Stardust."
"THAT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE!" I groaned, incredulous. "How are you supposed to produce that much to sell?!"
