CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Alex's PoV:

I can't get her out of my mind. I should be thinking about her. I'm supposed to destroy her.

Fuck.

It's our week off and Vi hasn't come out of her room since yesterday.
And I haven't been able to forget her taste since yesterday.
I'm utterly fucked.

I head to the gym because this frustration I have towards my self will only hone if I let off some steam.
I've been coming here too much lately.

I spent about two hours here and then I went to get a shower.
I come out and the suddenly see my father had called me. I pick up my phone and dial his number.

I wait as it rings. Then my father picks up.
"Hello, Alex?"

"Yes?"

"You know Vi's 21st birthday is in two weeks right?"

"Yeah, what about it?"

Vi's birthday is soon and obviously my father is interested because then she'll be eligible to take over.

"She takes over that day. You need to make sure that you are the one instead."
Of course. Why does everything keep on reminding me of her. And then reality hits me like a concrete wall. I'm not supposed to care for her. Im supposed to deceive her.

"I can't just take over like that. She'll need to step down in order for me to handle it. And I'm pretty sure considering the revenge she wants, she's not stepping down anytime soon"  I say.

"Then are you helping her with that? If you help with her mission now that both the mafias are united, you already rule half of it. For her plan to take place, you'll need to agree to it too, but if you don't......"

".....then she won't be able to carry out her revenge." I finish my father's sentence.

"You're in the perfect position to manipulate her. First her people then her position. Got it?"

I feel uneasy about this. Do I not wanna do this? God I'm fucking crazy.
"I'll see...." I say and hang up.

I know he's angry that I didn't agree to it. But I'll deal with that later.

First in need to deal with her. I finally in two days go to her room and knock on her door.

I knock again. Nothing.
Then Melissa comes to me and says, "good evening, Mr. Forman. If you're looking for Vi, she said she was heading out to her parents house."

What is she doing there? And without telling me?

"I see. Thank you Melissa." I say and start to head towards the basement and I tell Melissa that I'll be eating out tonight.

I get in my Bugatti and accelerate out d the driveway. Her parents house isn't far, just an hour away. I can make it in half. 

I accelerate and drive to her house. Speeding tickets have never been a problem. I have special name plates that let me drive however I want.

I reach the Angel's mansion and the guard opens the gate for me. I got to their door and knock.

Then Vi opens the door with a pleasant expression at first but it disappears and turns into a confused but shocked expression.
