Vi's PoV :

I wake up and feel something hard beneath me. My eyes still won't open, but I try.
I feel warm. Good.

I try to move but I feel something locking me by my waist.
I finally open my eyes to see that I'm sleeping on Alex's bare chest. We're both naked.

My cheeks start to heat when I look up to see him already looking at me.

"Good morning, Chaos." He says with a lazy grin and his morning voice rattling throughout my body.

"You have to tell me. Why do you call me that?" I ask.

"Call you what?" He asks.

"Chaos."

He looks into my eyes, so deeply I think I might get lost in his. After a minute he says, "Because you are as dangerous as you are beautiful, because in your eyes I see it. Chaos. It's everywhere. And god knows I love it."

And for the first time, I'm speechless. I look at him like he just told me his darkest secret, when he'd just told me mine.

"Then do you love me?" The words slipped out of my mouth before I could stop. I looked deep into his eyes, with hope this time and captured them. Neither of us blinked.

Looking at him right now, I knew I felt something for him I'd felt for no one before. And he looked at me like he wouldn't want to look anywhere else. But I wanted—no, needed— to know.

Then his hand moves upto my face to bring me closer. And then he kisses me. Slow and gently deepening it.
I could feel all the emotion pouring through that kiss, not only his but mine too.

Even though neither of us was good at expressing how we felt, I was feeling everything at once right now.

He doesn't want to say it yet. I couldn't either. Because we both know what that would mean.

Alex's PoV:

Work has been a bitch recently. There's problems occurring at the office and these imbeciles are this close to getting fired.

"I don't care. I need this done. By tomorrow." I say in a stern voice to the man on the phone. One of our shipments of weapons is missing and when I checked in to see what was happening, these people said they had no idea.

"But sir, you need to understand, we've done everything we could. We can't track them. They've disappeared." He says.

"Nothing disappears into thin air just like that. Especially not weapons. Find them or I'll make sure you see a few weapons very soon." I say angrily and hang up.

I sit down in my chair and press my fingers on my forehead.

I close my eyes for a second and I suddenly feel gentle hands on my shoulders.
I look behind me to see it's Vi.

"Tough day?" She asks. Nothing is tough around her.

"Hmm." I say.

Then she squeezes her hands around my shoulders. "Relax. It'll help." She says as she starts to massage me. Then she moves to the back of my neck. That's when the tension disappears and I drop my shoulders. I lean back to grab her waist and pull her closer.

I look up at her and she looks back. In this moment, it feels as if the blood in my veins has turned to lava.
I could look into her eyes forever.

Even though I didn't answer her question from this morning, I'm pretty sure she already knows the answer. And so do I.
