Juheon stood at the edge of the crumbling precipice, the wind whipping around him like a gathering storm. His dark cloak billowed dramatically behind him as he surveyed the chaotic landscape below, where flames danced hungrily, consuming everything in their path. The shadows cast by the flames seemed to mold themselves into sinister shapes, and he smiled, knowing he was the architect of this chaos.
He turned slowly to face her, his expression a mask of arrogance and defiance.
He gestured toward the chaos below. “This destruction is merely the first step toward a new world. A world where power is respected and fear is embraced.”
A flicker of something passed behind Juheon’s eyes, but it was quickly masked by a bitter smile. He stepped closer, the air around him thick with an intoxicating dark energy that made Midori’s skin crawl.
“Will you join me, as you once did, or will you stand against me? You have the potential to be stronger than you ever imagined, Midori. Together, we could reshape the world.”
Midori felt her heart race as she considered the weight of his words. “I will never join you,” she said firmly.
Juheon’s expression darkened, and for a moment, he seemed almost human—vulnerable. Juheon grabbed Midori's hand and take his knife out. Midori started panicking, she shouted for help . Juheon lightly cut Midori's thumb . When blood started dripping he dragged her towards the cave upstairs. He forcefully put her thumb on cave's door knob where it have a sign .
The barrier shifted slightly, enveloping her in its protective embrace. Juheon held her bloodied thumb aloft, feeling the energy around them pulse with anticipation. Kneeling before the magical treasures, Juheon pressed Midori's thumb against the first artifact. A surge of energy coursed through her.
In that instant, the cave responded. The treasures vibrated with an ancient magic.
