“What stuff did you bring?” Jeonghan asked, narrowing his eyes suspiciously at his friends, who were still buzzing with excitement around him.
“Treasure,” Dokyeom murmured, his voice loud enough to reach the ears of everyone in the room. The moment he spoke, the atmosphere shifted, and several friends shot him incredulous glares, their disbelief palpable. Jeonghan, however, remained unfazed, his eyebrow quirking up in curiosity.
“Treasure?” Jeonghan echoed, unable to hide his intrigue. He leaned in, eager to hear the wild tale Dokyeom might spin.
“Actually, we were joking! We didn’t bring anything; we just took stuff out from the fridge to make breakfast,” Sarang piped up, her playful grin illuminating her face. The room erupted into a mix of laughter and groans, the sound echoing off the walls.
“Seriously, I can’t with you guys,” Jeonghan sighed, rubbing his temples in frustration. “But still, let’s clean up and put this all back. I’ll help you,” he added firmly as he began to gather some items strewn across the table.
Immediately, a few of his friends began to protest. “No, no! We’ve got it!” Minhee insisted, waving her hands dismissively.
“Yeah, it’s a team effort!” Midori chimed in, trying to sound enthusiastic but failing miserably as she glanced at the mess.
“You all are acting like you filled the fridge with real treasure,” Jeonghan teased, shaking his head as he stepped towards the fridge and opens it. He opened and closed the door absentmindedly before realizing something was off. He opened it again, peering inside with a mix of curiosity and horror.
“What the fuck is this, man?” he exclaimed, his voice tinged with shock as he stared at the gold and gems.
