They shifted all the boxes to only Midori and Sarang-Minhee's room. Still 4 boxes where left so without getting no options, they decided to put that on the fridge for a while until they don't find another suitable place to hide .They took all vegetables, fruits and everything out of the fridge.
As they gathered around the kitchen, the atmosphere was a mix of excitement and nervousness. The fridge stood wide open, its shelves barren .
"Alright, let's make breakfast now because I'm tired and hungry at the same time," Hoshi said after completing the work, trying to balance being the responsible leader with the thrill of their adventurous heist. "Mingyu, you’ve got the culinary skills. What do you need?"
Mingyu was already pulling out pots and pans. "Midori, can you help manage the ingredients? Sarang, get some snacks out and make sure we have drinks ready for when we’re done.”
“On it!” Sarang said, bustling around the kitchen with a contagious enthusiasm. Midori nodded, stepping up to the counter with a determined look on her face.
Mingyu cut in, “I’ll make sure the food is ready to go but find a new place so that the fridge is back to normal before anyone notices. Just keep those boxes moving!”
As Mingyu started chopping up some vegetables and preparing a simple stir-fry, Midori helped by looking through the contents of the boxes, pulling out pieces one by one.
“Look at this one! It’s beautiful,” Midori exclaimed, holding up a delicate jade pendant. The light caught it, making it glimmer impressively.
Hoshi gave it a quick glance, then focused back on the stove where Mingyu was troubleshooting how much oil to add. “We need to make sure everything fits snugly in the fridge. We can’t let any of it go to waste.”
“Here, I’ll start arranging things!” Sarang said enthusiastically, eager to help. She grabbed one of the opaque containers from the box and carefully placed it beside the condiments.
As the stir-fry sizzled on the stove and the room filled with comforting aromas, the group couldn’t help but feel a sense of camaraderie. Even in the midst of chaos, they were having fun together.
“Alright, everyone ready to tackle the last boxes?” Dokyeom asked, glancing at the fridge. “I think we can fit them in if we stack them right.”
“Let’s do it!” Hoshi replied, determination fueling his words.
They worked quickly, moving the last few boxes out of sight and making sure they were stored properly.
