“Quickly explain everything to me. What’s going on?” Jeonghan demanded, his tone a mix of urgency and exasperation as he crossed his arms, trying to make sense of the bizarre scene before him.
Dokyeom responded with a loud, exaggerated fake laugh, which seemed to trigger a chain reaction among their friends. One by one, they burst into fits of giggles, their laughter echoing off the walls, almost drowning out Jeonghan’s mounting frustration. Jeonghan’s eyebrows shot up in disbelief, his expression a frozen mask of confusion.
“Omo, are they all possessed? Why the hell are they behaving like this?” Jeonghan murmured under his breath, glancing around the room as if searching for some hidden cameras.
“Stop laughing, and please don’t do anything. Just answer—why did you all take this stuff out?” he pressed, his patience slipping as they continued to chuckle. The room fell into a tense silence, all eyes darting around nervously, until Sarang finally broke the quiet.
“We brought new stuff!” Sarang exclaimed, her smile wide and sincere, beaming at Jeonghan as if that would clarify everything.
Jeonghan pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to suppress a groan.
“Bro, we share the same brain cell,” Minhee said to Sarang and also added ,“I also told this to him a few seconds ago.”
Minhee nodded enthusiastically, desperate to defend her choice of words as she added, “Yeah! Exactly!”
“What are these two even saying,” Midori interjected sharply, her voice a hushed whisper but heavy with irritation. She flicked her eyes at Minhee, clearly annoyed by the way she was adding fuel to the fire. Her brows knitted together, and her lips pressed into a thin line.
Mingyu leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, an innocent-looking smirk spreading across his face that only deepened Jeonghan’s frown.
“Do you have any kind of plan, or is this just a spontaneous raid of my space?” Jeonghan asked, trying to maintain some semblance of control.
Dokyeom, still grinning, shrugged mischievously. “A little bit of both! You know, life’s too short to keep the same old stuff.”
Jeonghan’s eyes narrowed, but he felt the tension slowly easing. This chaotic group, with their unrestrained laughter and spirited camaraderie, was somehow reassuring. Despite the current mess, the joy radiating from them was infectious.
“Alright, let’s see this ‘new stuff’ then,” Jeonghan said with a resigned sigh, knowing deep down that he'd soon be caught up in their whirlwind of energy. “But I swear, if I don’t like it, I’m putting everything back myself. Got it?”
