The female doctor was kneeling beside her head trying to check any improvement or change in her state but she couldn't see anything making her doubt herself and their decision of bringing her here in the first place .

She stared up at the other doctors and gave them a blank stare not sure about their method working , Mahidevran sultan tried to read their eyes but couldn't .

" what are we waiting for ?" she asked after some time passed still not seeing any progress in her daughters in law's state .

The doctor turned around when she heard Stella make some noise , her forehead was sweating and she got all red indicating that the water was helping and the new remedy was working indeed .

The three female doctors circled around her to supervise her state closely , Mahidevran sultan could only watch from afar as she didn't want to get contaminated .

One of the female doctors turned around to Mahidevran sultan « Your highness , Our sultana is going to get better , we did well by bringing her here » She announced while staring at Stella .

« Thank god .. » Mahidevran sultan sighed in relief , she was glad her daughter in law will get better and that her son was finally going to retrieve his smile back .

She turned around to leave the doctors continue their work as she felt suffocated in that cave , she left along with her servants and got back into the palace .

At Topkapi palace -

Mustafa was in the divan along with few pashas who didn't join the campaign , they were debating and updating him about how the campaign was going .

As they were speaking , Lokman agha joined them inside waiting for the divan to finish . Mustafa stared at him from afar as he waited for him for two days to comeback from Amasya , his mind was blank and his ears were no longer listening to the pashas as he just wanted to know the truth from Lokman standing far away .

« We will talk later , you can leave » he dismissed the pashas without looking at them and signaled for Lokman to come close .

« What did you find out ? » he asked impatient to know the answer , Lokman hesitated to answer .

« I have asked everyone your highness and as far as i know, no one was infected and i can confirm that it was targeted » Lokman finally answered trying to read Mustafa's reaction.

« I knew it » he put his hand on his chin and sighed « there is no one to accuse but Hurrem sultan , you will cooperate with Yahya and investigate secretly inside the palace » he stood up giving his last order .

He was done with this matter , he felt like it took him a long time to find the truth . he wanted to punish those who deprived him and his family of happiness .

While hurrem was conspiring with sumbul , her servant came inside hurriedly as if she had been hiding something .

" sultana" she bowed down to her and sumbul came forward trying to get the girl to speak " Sehzade Mustafa is suspsecting you , i heard some things" Upon hearing this , she rolled her eyes and proceeded to laugh .

« You're stating the obvious do you think i don't know that ? »she knew that she would be suspected and that didn't bother her one bit as she knew that no one could shake the trust between her and the sultan .

She knew that no matter who interfered between them or tried to ruin her image , the sultan would never believe them .

This was her tactic for years , manipulation was always working on her favour so even this time she wasn't so scared .

« He investigated in amasya but he found nothing , i heard he is going to investigate here too and he might find out about me » the girl said looking frightened , even if she way under hurrem sultan's protection she knew that her power had limits and that she wouldn't hesitate to throw her in the fire if needed .

« You know your family is with me and i don't think there is a need to remind you of the things that can go wrong if you do something wrong » She threatened her while plastering a grin .

« I can never betray you sultana » She bowed down on her knees and grabbed hurrem sultan's robe « God is my witness if i go against your orders » with that , hurrem sultan dismissed her and glanced at sumbul .

« Mustafa is as weaker as ever now , one thing left for me to do is let him fall from his father's eyes » she continued sipping on her tea and thinking of new ways to make his life worse .

On the other hand , Stella was still between life and death but closer to life more as the cure the doctors suggested worked for her .

They wrapped her body around a towel and brought her back to the palace where they dressed her in light clothes so the fever could lower a bit .

« She is going to get better sultana , we have to keep an eye on her » The head doctor confirmed to mahidevran sultan who felt relieved again , she stared at her daughter in law sleeping . Her face was not pale anymore , she looked alive and about to get on her feet .

« Our Nergisşah wasn't able to sleep well lately , i hope she can feel her mother again" Mahidevran's servant expressed her worry about the little sultana who didn't even have time to be with her mother .

After three days , the day everyone was waiting for came and stella has finally opened her eyes . Her eyes opened abruptly after she experienced a very vivid dream , her palms and forehead were sweaty and she realised her surroundings little by little , a huge see through veil was covering the whole bed and she tried to see through it just to find the doctors mixing some medicine

She cleared her throat which made the doctors turn around to her «  Our sultana is awake » one of them rejoiced and ran towards the door .

Stella put her hand on her forehead and realised how boiling hot she felt but she didn't feel weak , as the last time she remembered .

She helped herself up feeling all dizzy and tired, she looked around trying to wonder what was happening around her .

« Where am i ? » she asked not recognising her surroundings , one of the female doctors opened the curtain and stepped inside .

« Sultana , you were unconscious for days . you were infected by smallpox and thanks to god you're better now , we don't want to risk everyone infected so we kept you here » The doctor explained trying not to sound excited after their miraculous and exciting results.

It was difficult and nearly impossible to cure someone from this disease .

« I am the only one ? how is mustafa ? where is he and my daughter what happened to them ? » she remembered them immediately and looked horrified as she was scared she contaminated them .

« Rest assured sultana , we took the necessary precautions and both of them are fine , His highness was the one who sent you here » She felt reassured and relieved that both of them were safe but at the same time she wanted to hug them both .

« Mahidevran sultan is here too , she didn't let you alone even for a second . She took care of our little  sultana » Stella was thankful for mahidevran sultan's gestures and presence .

« May god reward her for all her actions , you said i can't get up right ? » she asked again trying to make sure she was taking the right precautions.

« Yes sultana , not yet . we will give you more days to make sure that the disease is no longer present in your body » She nodded and looked at her arms and legs who were obviously still red .

« I have a high fever , if you can do something about it » she said laying back slowly and gently closed her eyes .

She couldn't wait to get up and be healthy again , she just wanted to be with her husband and daughter. but yet she didn't know that mustafa was unveiling hurrem sultan's dirty work , the one who caused her to be the  closest to death .
