I simply build upon what they created and also added a few species of my own to the world - see next chapter (And yes, I have permission to make my own characters and write this story. REGARDING THE ART: All art featured in this story has been made by me, unless specifically stated otherwise! If no credits by art are listed, I made it myself. Characters are my own. You are not allowed to take the images and use them for your own story, cast, cover art or anything like that! For that reason I have also put the TH watermark on the refs and every art shared with the chapters. No touchies.
I am still rather new to drawing horses, so please do not judge my anatomy too hard! I improved and learned as I drew those reference sheets pretty much, which is why the face-shapes and such might look a bit different between each character - drawing horses is quite different from drawing dragons I learned.
Mini-comics have also been made for this story. Those comics can be found on my Instagram (anvraptor) or my TH folder dedicated to my characters - my TH is linked up in my bio, know that you need to be logged in to view the 'Water Demons' folder (located within Animals/Yokai) where they're located. Also note that the character biographies will contain spoilers as I add to them with each chapter written!
I also drew the cover art myself! So art credits for that go to me as well. All art is made using IbisPaint X on my Samsung tablet and I used Pixlr to add the text. I tried to include the cover above as well, but it keeps deleting itself so idk anymore there. If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know.
CHARACTERS: Note that not every mentioned character in this story will have a drawn reference! Only those who I also use for comics and art (or simply adore a lot or who play an important part in the story) will have a properly drawn reference.
