Riya's arrival at the company seemed to coincide with a newfound sense of awkwardness between Sana and Sidharth. They had never been the most comfortable around each other, but now the tension was palpable.

Sana tried to avoid them, but it was impossible. She had to work with Sidharth on a daily basis, and Riya was always hovering around, her presence a constant reminder of Sidharth's engagement.

Riya, however, seemed to sense that something was off. She would catch Sana staring at Sidharth, or notice the way Sidharth's eyes lingered on Sana. At first, she wrote it off as mere friendship, but as the days went by, she couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more.

One day, as they were working on a project together, Riya confronted Sana. "Hey, can I talk to you for a minute?" she asked, her voice low and even.

Sana hesitated, but Riya's expression was kind, so she nodded. "What's up?"

Riya glanced around the room, ensuring they were alone. "I've noticed something between you and Sid. Something that goes beyond friendship."

Sana's heart skipped a beat. "What are you talking about?"

Riya's eyes locked onto hers. "Don't play dumb, Sana. I've seen the way you look at him, the way he looks at you. There's a connection there, and I want to know what it is."

Sana looked Riya straight in the eye. "I think you're misunderstanding, Riya ma'am. I'm just a normal employee, and Sidharth sir is my boss. That's all."

Riya raised an eyebrow. "Okay, Sana. But I've seen the way he looks at you..."

Sana cut her off, a hint of defiance in her voice. "I have a boyfriend, Riya ma'am. And even if I didn't, Sidharth sir is engaged to you. Let's just focus on the trip and having fun, okay?"

Riya's expression changed, a small smile playing on her lips. "Okay, Sana. You're right. Let's just enjoy the trip."

But as Riya walked away, Sana couldn't shake the feeling that she was hiding something. And when she glanced over at Sidharth, she caught him staring at her, a look of intensity in his eyes.

As the group settled into the resort, everyone was in high spirits, enjoying the beautiful surroundings and each other's company. But Riya's mind was elsewhere, her thoughts consumed by the possibility of something going on between Sidharth and Sana.

She couldn't shake off the feeling, and it was making her increasingly agitated. She started to notice every little interaction between them, every smile, every laugh. And with each passing moment, her hatred for Sana grew.

Riya's eyes narrowed as she watched Sidharth and Sana from afar. They were both sitting by the pool, but they might as well have been worlds apart. They didn't even look at each other, let alone talk.

As the day went by, Riya found herself growing more and more agitated. She couldn't concentrate on the group activities, and she kept finding excuses to glance over at Sidharth and Sana.

Finally, she couldn't take it anymore. She got up and walked over to Sana, her heart pounding in her chest.

"Sana, can I talk to you for a minute?" Riya asked, her voice cold and detached.

Sana looked up, startled. "Yeah, sure."

Riya's eyes flashed with anger. "I know what's going on between you and Sidharth. And I'm warning you, stay away from him."

Sana's expression changed from confusion to shock. "Riya, I don't know what you're talking about."

Riya's anger boiled over, and she pushed Sana into the pool. Sana let out a terrified scream as she fell into the water, flailing her arms and legs.

But Sana didn't know how to swim.

Sidharth, who was standing nearby, reacted quickly. He rushed into the pool, his clothes and all, and swam towards Sana.

He reached her just as she was starting to go under, and pulled her into a tight hold. Sana clung to him, panic-stricken, as he swam back to the side of the pool.

As they emerged from the water, everyone around them fell silent. They were all staring at Sidharth and Sana, who were locked in a tight embrace.

The chemistry between them was palpable, and everyone could see it. Riya's eyes widened in shock and anger as she realized that her plan had backfired.

Sidharth and Sana didn't seem to notice anyone else around them. They just looked into each other's eyes, their faces inches apart.

Finally, Sidharth spoke, his voice low and husky. "Are you okay?"

Sana nodded, still clinging to him. "Y-yes. Thanks to you."

As they stood there, the tension between them grew thicker. It was like the whole world had melted away, leaving only the two of them.
