Ekansh awoke and went to freshen up, leaving Roohi still asleep behind the sofa, hugging herself for comfort.
Meanwhile, Meera, exhausted and tearful from a sleepless night, glanced anxiously out the window as the rain finally ceased. Harish, who had been trying to console her, spoke with determination.
"Meera, I know where Roohi has gone," Harish said, his voice steady despite the concern in his eyes.
Meera, puzzled, looked at him.
Harish's tone was resolute. "She must have gone to the mansion near the city. I know she's been wanting to see it. We should head there" Harish said with a cold tone, as he knew Roohi wanted to see a mansion in their village, and Harish told her not to go. where they went for an outing, there was also a mansion maybe she had gone there to see on her own.
Meera's worry deepened. "I'll come with you."
Harish nodded, and together they set off towards the mansion.
As they headed towards the mansion, the rain had just stopped, but the weather remained gloomy. They arrived at the mansion and found the door closed door and Advik and Mr Raichand had come to the mansion to discuss a new project with Ekansh.
They noticed Meera and Harish standing outside with worried expressions but initially didn't address them.
Meera and Harish saw the two men and looked confused. Harish gave Mr Raichand a suspicious glance. Advik, noticing their concern, wondered why they were there and what they might want, as his boss was inside.
Advik, observing the distressed pair, felt puzzled. Why were they standing in front of the mansion, especially when his boss was inside? He mulled over this, his mind racing with questions.
Mr. Raichand's expression remained cold and unreadable.
Ekansh descended the stairs after freshening up, intending to sit on the lawn until work began. When he reached the door, he opened it and stepped outside, his usual cold demeanour in place. His gaze fell on Advik and Mr Raichand, and a couple standing with worried expressions.
Ekansh recognized Advik, his PA, and assumed the older man in a suit was Mr. Raichand. However, the distressed couple next to them was unfamiliar. He wondered if they were associated with Mr. Raichand and Advik, but their presence was baffling.
When Meera and Harish saw the man who opened the door, they felt a glimmer of hope, thinking they could finally inquire about Roohi.
"Beta, is our daughter here?" Harish asked anxiously, but Ekansh looked startled, clearly confused by the question.
"What are you talking about?" Ekansh replied, his voice laced with confusion. "Who are you?"
"Beta, have you seen our daughter anywhere here?" Harish repeated, his worry growing more intense. Ekansh's irritation began to surface, though he struggled to maintain his composure. He thought, Why would any girl be here?
"Sir, you're talking nonsense. Are you mad I don't even know what you are talking about; why will your daughter be here," Ekansh said with mounting irritation.
"Beta, our Roohi must be here somewhere. Let us look," Harish insisted, his voice filled with concern. Harish stood speechless, his mind racing in all directions, unable to form coherent thoughts. He wasn’t even sure if his words were making sense or how they might sound to those around him. The only thing anchoring his scattered thoughts was the faint hope that Roohi might still be here.Meera, still crying, added to the tension.
Advik watched the exchange with a frown, feeling sympathy for the distressed couple. He feared that their presence was only going to exacerbate his boss's mood. He gulped, bracing for his boss's potential outburst.
