I stood outside my sisters house and gently knocked on the door, I hadn't seen her in almost a year due to work commitments but I was so lucky that I got a week off, I don't have to fly anywhere for a whole week and I decided to surprise her with the help of Callie, her wife. I stood there biting the inside of my cheek for a moment as I waited for the door to open and soon it opened.

"Surprise" I grinned as Arizona had a look of shock on her face.

"Savannah! What are you doing here? How did you know I was home?" Arizona asked and I let a small laugh.

"Callie helped me surprise you. I'm not flying again until Sunday and I wanted to see you and my niece" I grinned happily she pulled me into a hug.

"I've missed you Zona" I said softly hugging my sister back.

"I've missed you too Vanna" Arizona said softly kissing my forehead as she pulled away.

"Come in" she said stepping out the way and let me in, I head giggles coming from the living room and as we headed inside the house I saw Sofia playing with Callie, I couldn't help smiling.

"Hey Callie" I waved to my sister-in-law, I smiled when I saw Sofia, she was starting to grow up faster than I could imagine, I remember Arizona sending me a picture of her on her first day of kindergarten that was a few months ago now if I remember correctly.

"Hi Savannah, have a safe flight?" Callie asked and I nodded heading over to give her a hug and see Sofia.

"Hey Sofia, what are you playing with" I asked softly unsure if my niece remembers me.

"Dollie's, this is Cece" Sofia smiled showing me her toll.

"Hello Cece, it's nice to meet you" I smiled shaking the doll's tiny hand making Sofia giggle

"She can't talk Auntie Van, she's a dolly" Sofia laughed

"Oh silly me" I laughed along with the child, suddenly two pagers went off meaning Callie and Arizona had to go to work. A massive explosion happened in town so Grey-Sloan would be getting plenty of patients

"Want me to have Sofia today. I don't need to be anywhere and sounds like you two will be busy?" I asked just as a knock happened at the door.

"I was meant to be having Zola and Bailey for Meredith and Derek, that'll be them" Callie explained while Arizona went to open the door.

"Did you get paged too?" Arizona asked whoever was at the door, they had just been paged.

"No, my sisters here and she's having Sofia today" I heard Arizona tell them as the door shut. Zola and Sofia started playing together and it was cute.

"We should get the kids to the daycare" Derek said.

"I could look after them for you. I know you guys don't really know me but I'm great with kids and I'm fully trained in first aid. I don't mind. It looks like Zola and Sofia are already having fun together" I offered unsure if it was the right thing to do or not.

"I can vouch for Savannah, she has been to medschool as well and she's a pilot, I know that doesn't matter but my point is Savannah knows her stuff" Arizona backed me up.

"If you're sure you can manage three children on your own" Meredith said looking to Derek who agreed.

"I can manage. I fly a plane, how bad can three children be" I said trying to hide the fact that I was starting to doubt my abilities to look after three children

"Anything I need to know about the kids? I don't want to do anything that could harm the children. Are they allergic to anything?" I asked.

"Bailey is due a nap in a hour, no allergies. I'll give you our numbers in case anything comes up" Meredith informs me and I nodded. The four doctors quickly leave after I receive Derek and Meredith's number. I take Baileys bottles and put them in the fridge

It was a few hours later and I was well in over my head. I thought I'd manage three children but it was so chaotic. I may have a IQ of 186, I graduated from 3 schools and I fly a goddamn aeroplane for crying out loud but here I am with two children running around and a crying one year old; not to mention I've tried everything to get him to stop crying.

"Come on Bailey. Please stop crying." I cooed bouncing the baby gently on my hip. I wasn't good at this.

"Auntie Van! Can we go to the park?" Sofia asked running over to me with paint all over her.

"Okay, how about we wash you and Zola up, have a snack and then we can go to the park.?" I suggested, the two girls agreed and all while bouncing Bailey and trying to stop him from crying more I helped the two girls wash up before getting their snacks. I got the girls two snacks and continued to try and stop Bailey crying.

Once the girls had eaten and then they had their shoes on I quickly texted Arizona telling her that I've taken the kids to the park and I also sent Meredith and Derek a text so they knew I wouldn't be home with there children.

"I want to set up some rules for you two, you don't runoff from me and when I say it's home time we will leave. Okay." I said to the young girls who nodded. Then I put Bailey into his pushchair now finally settled and left my sister's place. Zola and Sofia walked holding hands and giggling. They were the cutest, as I was walking with them to the park I started to imagine what it would be like to have my own children, would they be close to Sofia like Zola is, like I know they aren't cousins and my children would be Sofia's cousin.

"Right girls, come hold the pushchair while we cross the road" I tell the two children who agreed and immediately held onto the pushchair. We all looked before crossing and heading into the park. I felt like I was losing my mind as i took care of the children but at the same time I loved it, it was just another adventure, Right? I let the two girls run around as long as I could see them at all times but all of a sudden they both tripped simultaneously, it was like they were domino's both girl scraping their knees.

"Shit" I muttered under my breath worrying that Meredith and Derek would be angry and the same with Arizona and Callie. both girls were crying which then set Bailey off. I crouched down in front of the crying children and in that moment I wanted to cry too, I was screwing everything up.

"Oh come on!" I groaned as my phone started ringing.

"Let's go to the bench and get your knees cleaned up and let me see what your Mommy wants" I said softly to Zola, the two girls were still crying and so was Bailey so with a shaken breath I answered the phone.

"Hello, Captain Robbins speaking" I answered almost forgetting I didn't need to answer like that but I had gotten so used to answering this way that Its almost natural now.

"It's Meredith. Is everything alright" Meredith asked probably hearing the crying.

"Yes, no. I don't know" I said with a heavy sigh

"What's wrong?" Meredith asked

"The girls tripped and are crying with scraped knees and Baileys crying too. I've probably taken on more than I can handle. I'm sorry. I've screwed up" I admitted trying not to cry.

"Savannah, Arizona has faith in you and you may think you've screwed up but you haven't children fall over all the time. As for Bailey you're not doing anything wrong. I know I don't know you too well but I know you can handle this. Just breath" Meredith said to me down the phone.

"What do I do? What am I not doing right," I asked confused as to why I'm overwhelmed, I don't think have ever been this overwhelmed before not when I was graduating high school at thirteen, not when I finished med school or air school, this was all new to me.
