The Unexpected Lovers

Chapter 4

Bella POV

Edward wrapped me up in his arms and took me to the jeep, buckled me in and ran to the front, next thing I know Emmett is next to me and we are zooming through the forest.

"Where are we going?" I asked when I realised that we where headed away from Forks.

"Out of forks I need to get you out of here as fast as possible," Edward said focusing on the road that we just got on.

"What no I need to help Charlie!" I shouted fumbling with the stupid harness that Edward hooked me into.

"Emmett you know what to do," Edward said sadly.

Suddenly I found my hands pinned together by Emmett's freezing cold hands.

"Please Edward!" I yelled desperately.

"I'm so sorry Bella but you mean more to me," Edward said quietly and he hit the gas pedal harder.

"I swear to god if you do not turn this jeep around this fucking instant I will never forgive you!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

Emmett's and Edward's both opened wide in shock, I usually never swear, but right know my father's life is on the line and its up to me to protect it.

"Turn this instant, I will find a way to trick James into thinking that I don't care about Charlie, then he'll leave him alone," I said desperately.

All of the sudden Alice jumped through the passenger window, "she's right and you know it Edward, turn around," Alice said in a firm voice.

Edward's shoulders sagged in defeat and he slowed down and made a U-turn, "you've got five minutes to pack, and convince Charlie, we need to be gone by then," Edward stated strongly, probably reading Alice's mind.

I nodded my head and it was then that we reentered Forks, now I just have to be super mean to the best father in the world, that's not gonna be good, but I must do it for Charlie's safety.
