Chapter 6

Bella POV

I cowered into Edward for protection, he rubbed my back, "shhh its just Emmett."

I relaxed and sat up and when we arrived at the house the black man was the house when we entered Edward instantly tensed and put himself directly in front of me.

"He comes in peace," Carlisle stated going in front of the black man.

"Its is true," the black man stated stepping around Carlisle, "I am sick of James and his games, I'm heading up north to your family in Alaska, I am very interested in your diet and I would stay here but I think James ruined that for me, but one thing is, James has unparalleled senses, absolutely lethal, and the woman, Victoria has an uncanny gift of hiding and waiting for her opportunity, do not underestimate them," he then quickly left in a black and brown blob heading to Alaska.

They all then rushed me to the garage, Jasper and Emmett talking how its difficult to kill vampires, but not impossible. Rosalie sitting on the work bench.

Edward dug into my bag, "Rosalie, Esme can you put these on, so the tracker picks up Bella's scent," he said as he threw Esme and Rosalie my jackets.

It made me happy that Esme would be surrounded in my scent and she apparently was too, she swung on the jacket without complaint and smiled at me and Edward. But Rosalie wasn't so convinced.

"Why," she said harshly, "what is she to me."

Carlisle sighed loudly and held my jacket back out to her cause she dropped it in disgust, "Bella is with Edward, which makes her family, and we protect our family," he said sternly.

She took it from Carlisle but it was obvious that she didn't want to.

"I'm gonna run Bella south you guys lead the tracker away from here," Edward said putting his arm around me.

"No Edward," Jasper cautioned, "James knows you'd never leave Bella, he is gonna follow you."

"I will run Bella south with jasper, I'll take care of her," Alice whispered. Edward nodded sadly and Alice wrapped her arm around my waist and helped me to the car.

I rolled down my window and Edward came and leaned down.

"I swear to god if something happens," I whispered shaking my head.

"Nothing's gonna happen and when its all over I'm gonna come and get you, Bella you are my life now," he put his hand on my cheek then stopped leaning on the car.

Suddenly Alice, Jasper, and I shot into the night like a bullet from a gun leaving my 'mate' and soul mate in the dust.
