Final exams marks the end of the school year, but as Aizawa warned you weeks ago, it's not the end of training for your students. Both for their training and their safety, both 1-A and 1-B will be attending summer camp at the forest lodge.
The students are admittedly annoyed about losing a big chunk of their summer break, but it's important training time for them as future heroes, and for their own protection as so many villains seem to be targeting UA right now. Additionally, you assure them there will be time for fun and leisure as well... at least for those who passed their final exams. You admit to the four who failed you can't promise how hard Aizawa will be on them at camp
You're all packed and heading for the bus with your students when Nezu scampers over, startling you.
"Principal Nezu! What can I do for you?"
"I've got great news for you!" The principal beams. "I've spoken to Vlad, and he has agreed to take you on to work with class 1B."
"Oh.."
You don't know what to say. It's been ages since you talked to Nezu about a transfer and you kind of thought he forgot about it. Things have gotten a lot better with Aizawa, apparently to the point that you're now feeling an alarming amount of displeasure over the prospect of leaving. And when you think about the kids, your heart aches at the idea of no longer working with them.
Nezu clearly senses your hesitence and gives you a puzzled look. "Is there a problem? When we last spoke you were insistent you required a transfer.
Nezu clearly pulled string for you here, and his reminder of your state when you last spoke sowes seeds of doubt regarding just how well you're getting along with Aizawa in your mind. Things are okay now, but would they even stay that way? And Nezu wants an answer. Now.
So, you make a split second decision.
"Sorry- you're totally right, I was. And I still am. Thank you, Principal Nezu."
And you're still questioning that decision when you get on the bus, and all the way to camp.
Aizawa is grumpy on the bus as always, but lets the students fool around since they're not listening anyways and this will be the only time they have to do so once they get to camp.
The whole bus ride, your news dances on the edge of your tongue, but you don't want to discuss it in front of the students, at least not yet. You tell yourself you'll talk to Aizawa about it the first chance you have at camp. You'll ask him once and for all if he wants you to work with him, and if he says yes, he can help you talk to Nezu. If not... well, then you've got 1B.
When you arrive, Aizawa introduces everyone to the Wild Pussycats- a unique group of heroes facilitating the summer camp. They're incredibly outgoing, which is both comforting and concerning as you try to keep up with all their questions on your way to camp.
"How are you enjoying Japan?"
"Tell us about your Quirk!"
"Is Aizawa being nice to you?"
You stammer through vague answers, fairly overwhelmed, and breathe a sigh of relief when you pull into the campgrounds. The students are still on their way- they have to make their way through the woods to find the camp. You think it's a little cruel for their first day, but you won't argue with the Pussycat's methods until you've witnessed them firsthand.
As you're being given a quick tour of the lodge, you discover it's also a medical hot springs spa. That evening everyone has the opportunity to use the springs, and you're elated.
