You immediately start sweating and your heart pangs in your chest. "Why? What do they want?"

Nezu hops up and heads for the door. "They wouldn't say, but apparently it's a matter of international security!"

Shit. You really hope it's not what you think it is.

"Follow me, please. We must be on our way to meet them." Nezu opens the door for you and you walk out hesitantly before he leads you down to the entrance.

There are at least five officers in the lobby, and some of the faculty are gathered around to see what's happening. When you and Nezu walk in, everyone in the room turns and stares at you.

"Uh, hi officers! What can I help you with today?" Your face is burning. Being arrested in front of your new coworkers is probably not a great first impression.

One of the officers steps forward. "I think you know why we're here, Luminescence. We're gonna need you to come with us."

Principal Nezu stays close next to you, bowing. "Of course, officers. May I ask where you will be going? I want to make sure my employee has access to a proper defense."

"We'll be taking her to the precinct downtown. You're welcome to follow us, but I can't guarantee anyone will be allowed in. This is a serious matter."

Nezu nods. "Very well. We will all cooperate, isn't that right?" He looks at you expectantly and you nod too. Making a run for it did cross your mind, but you're in a foreign country with nowhere to go. Nezu seems like he's going to help you, and having his support is comforting.

The officer walks over to you and pulls out massive handcuffs. "Please don't resist."

You take one more glance at the door before sighing and letting him cuff you. It's not like you can't just melt them off if you really need to later. You glance at Nezu and he sends you a quick nod, grabbing his keys from his pocket before you're led out of the building and into a cop car.

The ride to the precinct is quick and silent. You consider asking them what this is all about but you figure it's best to stay silent. The Fifth, and all that. (or whatever the Japanese equivalent is- if there is one. You're not sure).

You're brought inside and quickly shoved into a stuffy little room. You wait, seated at a table, for what feels like forever before a man comes in and stands on the other side of the table, towering over you. He's followed closely by Nezu who climbs into the chair beside you.

"Sir, I'm so sorry about this, I don't-"

He waves his hands. "Please, it's alright. I'm here to represent you in this matter. The most important thing is to stay quiet and not speak to whatever is asked.

The man in the room clears his throat loudly, interrupting you too. He's wearing a suit that looks laundered without enough starch, and his glasses are too loose on his face- falling down his nose as he walks over to you.

"Hello there." He uses your first name to address you, and you immediately place his accent as American.

Shit. How did they find you so fast?

"Please, let's get on with this, Officer." Nezu folds his hands on the table.

The man crosses his arms as he examines you. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude. It's just not every day that you finally catch the most wanted terrorist of North America."

Your fears are answered. He knows who you are, and he works for them. You force the butterflies in your stomach down.

Nezu tuts and shakes his head. "That is an intense accusation, Mister- ah, how should we address you, sir?"
