Chapter Five

No POV

Traveling through a worm whole at light speed. Both Quinn and Gary were in the commissary as they supposedly had an awkward conversation on about impersonation, arson, and their ongoing relationship that is never gonna happen. Avacato polishing his gun and Kalory flipping his knife over and over from boredom. Then the holographic console showed the breech of a black hole and its glowing, and apparently growing.

"You tell the Infinity Guard this and they didn't listen and they want to arrest you?" Gary questioned Quinn. "They're total bad guys. That smells coming from the Infinity Guard kitchen? A little dish I call Corruption Stew!" Gary elaborated with an unusual saying of truth.

"The Infinity Guard is not corrupt." Quinn says in defense.

"Lies." Kalory said disagree to Quinn statement.

"I get it you're mad I broke up with you." Gary placed a hand on Quinn shoulder as he walked beside her left.

"My patience's is whittling away." Quinn tiredly said.

"Whittle away, temptress. Your words can't hurt me anymore." Gary informed Quinn joyfully.

KVN floats near the holographic glowing image as H.U.E explain it as a Plasmic energy firing from that planet directly into the breach.

"If the laser continues, the breach will widen, and Earth will be consumed." H.U.E explain them.

"H.U.E, scan that planet for inhabitants." Quinn told H.U.E.

H.U.E scanned the planet as it revealed an Infinity Guard Outpost.

"It's official, shit like this is definitely evil proof." Kalory implied to Quinn.

"There has to be a good explanation." Quinn says in questioning what are they doing on the planet. "We're going. H.U.E., prime the lightfold engines." Quinn told H.U.E.

"Woah(7x)! The moment we broke up, that right went back to El Capitan..." Gary thumbed pointed himself proudly.

Kalory rolled his eyes, clearly sharing the same "is he serious" brain cells with Quinn.

"H.U.E., how do we get to the surface?" Quinn question H.U.E.

"With a captains finesse." Gary says.

"Stop saying your captain you're just as much of criminal as all of us!" Kalory corrected Gary.

"I'm trying to have my way here, Kal. Stop whizzing my way!" Gary pointed Kalory, suddenly he pressed the joystick button sending them flying to the planet.

They all screamed in unison holding onto something for dear life. The lights were flashing red and the ship was at incredible speed. Gary, attempts to grab the joystick and pull up, but some of the ship hit the trees sending them crashing down. Inside they all fall around the place, while Mooncake was just floating there. Then the ship landed as it slows down stopping in its tracks.

Kalory POV

My head dazed from the crash we just had. Placing my hand on my head as he aches. I grab into the chair lifting myself unfortunately I couldn't stand properly. Still feeling a bit sore on the head I turn my head to, Gary. I couldn't believe he honestly did that. I sighed irritably and scratch the back of my head.

"Gary, you're not flying any ship for now on!" I said giving Gary a stern glance.

"Accessing damage. The deflector array is offline." H.U.E informed us. He opens the hatch for us as we prepare ourselves for this now betrayal mission to this planet. "The power cells are offline. The bake shop is offline." H.U.E gave us further information.
