Rachel and Remy finally reached the edge of Orion's territory, a heavily guarded fortress built from the bones of fallen skyscrapers. But as they crept closer, a sense of dread settled over Remy. Something wasn't right.
Then, in a flash, the trap was sprung. Rachel turned, a cruel smile playing on her lips.
Rachel: "Did you really think you were the only one left, Remy? Did you really think we'd let you slip away so easily?"
Remy's heart sank. He had trusted her, fought beside her. But it was all a lie.
Remy: "You play a dangerous game, chérie. Betrayin' the last mutant on Earth."
She laughed, a cold, hollow sound.
Rachel: "I'm not betraying anyone. I'm just playing for the winning team."
Suddenly, a group of soldiers surrounded them, weapons drawn. And standing at the center was Orion himself, a towering figure clad in dark armor. His eyes glowed with a fierce, inhuman light.
Orion: "Welcome, Gambit. It's time to see just how powerful the last mutant really is."
