Life is not easy for a poor immigrant/free African American family in 19th century America. Your desperate for better prospects, many a new farm anywhere but where you are. your parents can't do it alone though. So now it's up to you and any siblings to find a spouse with some amount of money.
You run into fromtiersmen and gunslinger Jack Taylor, who's buying supplies to go start his own homestead in the vast wyoming territories. You manage to hammer out a marriage agreement, and so your now on your way west, hoping to retrieve your family the next year. Let's hope your ready
