Alistair x Bunny

Okay, this is officially one of the most hated ship in the fandom. According to me, for no good reason.

Do I not like Alistair with other Wonderlandian girls? Yep. Plain as it is. But, hear me out...

Even though this ship feels like good old Adrinette splashed with a bit of fairy tales, I seriously think that this ship means more than that. I like the idea that despite how cliche it sounds, Alistair and Bunny seems like a relationship purely out of the 'curiousity' and 'wonder' Alice or Alistair may have towards Bunny, as she kinda has that mysterious aura. Got this reference from one of the Reddit users!

For that very reason, I think it's a symbolic ship, even if it is quite boring from time to time. Not to say, they're quite adorable with their special episode and all. There's also moments of them in Spring Unsprung, where they blush, and also when both of them get jealous when some others just make a move. Now, this is where I think was the issue.

They're underdeveloped.

They had good potential with both the characters but still failed to get into the spotlight due to poor character arch. Perhaps, in a way or two, they bond with similar unsatisfactory archetypes.

Perhaps if Alistair was more interested in solving the greatest mysteries and puzzles of the Fairytale World, including the destiny hoax, he would have been very interesting and instrumental. Also, I would have loved to see him finding his lost parents, and having frequent traumatic dreams/ flashbacks of Wonderland crumbling.

Bunny, on the other hand, could be more of a control freak, or a workaholic. She could be a pillar of support for Alistair's trauma, and could have eventually turned into a more calmer and smarter person by being with Alistair. Like both heal each other.

Now that's what we would call a real relationship, y'all.
